Can’t wait to watch your glamping adventures. This tent is amazing. I found a lot of videos with people glamping a while ago with these tents and I’m mesmerized. I was so surprised to see that you are going to do it since I’ve been watching them for a little while now.
Glamping? Oh for Fcks sake 😅😅😅
I'm ready to get this tent and live in it permanently
Watch out for
@Kagutsuch1i I actually have been for 4 weeks now
@@sharonperez8629how is it ? Do you recommend buying
With how much it costs why not😅
Can’t wait.. I’ve been bugging my wife for two years now. She finally decided we are going to get one! Ive ordered the stove separately bc the one it comes with I find is small. I’m going to use it on my hunting lease and public land hunting. Ordered a solar power bank just to change our phones. I’d like to know how is this tent in the summer? In Louisiana we are full of nats and mosquitoes. So I can’t open it up fully. I’d at least have to keep the mesh up. So dose it still breath well with the mesh up?
WOW. Great tent. If you get another one you'll have Coodies.
You funny kind!!!
😂😂 Good One!! U made me talk.😂😂
Now go make precious memories with your family with that beautiful tent❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Been loving these camping reviews Nate. It’s such a good switch up. Keep them coming, you’re doing a fantastic job!!!
Absolutely love the detail you go into here! Always a pleasure to watch one of your videos! Just discovered your other pages last week, and as a fellow Ohioan, I greatly appreciate your passion for the Midwest!
Thanks!!
Best review on YT about this tent🏕
Can’t wait to watch your glamping adventures. This tent is amazing. I found a lot of videos with people glamping a while ago with these tents and I’m mesmerized. I was so surprised to see that you are going to do it since I’ve been watching them for a little while now. I’ve seen people have some sort of carpet that zips up and it may cover that raised area between rooms. I know Marion has fallen a few times recently. Please tell her to be careful!❤️❤️
Wow That's a biggest one I love to go see camping Tent to speed night what ever you will go at.
Thanks!

I love watching people who like outdoors I just like to learn and this tent is very well made 🤗
ok, that tent makes me rethink tent camping.. lol
Right!?
This tent is not cheap. U are better off put that money towards a hard camper.
Excellent very professional review!!
Thank you! Best tent I've ever purchased!
I believe the small zipped pocket at the far end is for an Electric Hook Up (EHU). Power lead. Also pretty sure you can get fitted carpet for these tents. Which zip together, may solve the divider issue.
Definitely ON POINT and explains EVERYTHING! The small shit helps, too! Making me want to save for one!!!! Very detailed! #1 reviewer i ever came across!!!
Thanks for this video!! Absolutely love this tent!!!
Thanks! I can't wait to use it!!
Wow! Nice to see you here Coody familia 😍 I'm camping with my son in a coody air tent in South Korea! The orange repair kit is very important!! Your big yard house is so cool!! We usually live in A.P.T, so you can open the tent on the campsite. 🥹 That's a great review. 👏👏

@@breabnyan thanks!
I just ordered one thank you
Nice detailed video. 👍🏾
Looks like a great giant tent! The review seems pretty thorough to me. As a wheelchair user, I would wonder if such a tent would work well it has lots of space inside - definite bonus), aside from that issue you mentioned with the room divider, as the entrance to the tent also has a bottom edge to go over which would be difficult with a wheelchair I'm guessing, or maybe any device on wheels (such as a stove for camping maybe, if it goes inside?)
That being said, I don't really think of camping or glamping for wheelchair users.. not that it can't be done for those who are willing and determined. Haha, there's a more off roading wheelchair device called "The Rig" that is made by a company called Not A Wheelchair, and I'm assuming if you were adventurous you could bring one of those on an outdoor trip and explore more easily without use of your legs.
Wow Nate very nice tent I love this tent
Oh my goodness love that tent I
Excellent presentation. I wish the manufacturer would present like you just did, because I probably would have purchased one already. Of course I was dealing with the originals from China, not Amazon. 👍🏼
Hi from South Africa love your videos❤
Fabulous tent
The two downsides I see are first I think the stove jack should be in the back section where you will most likely be sleeping. Two I don't like having to close the windows from the outside.
Excellent review, the best I've watched thus far. I do wish the rain fly had a stove jack. Warming the tent and then can only partially cover the tent.
I agree, it doesn't make much sense to not have the stove jack in the rainfly, the tent itself is water repellent enough that most people dont even use the rainfly, and if rain doesnt make it through the stove jack without the rainfly, you should be able to create one in the rainfly, and the little bit of water it lets through shouldn't matter... in theory lol.
Im looking for a glam tent for the backyard. Would love love love this tent BUT $2,000 is way outside of my budget.
Going to keep researching for something more affordable But oh how i love this tent.
I've been searching for videos like this one on various blow up tents I'm searching this one more due to your review
Love love love it can't wait to watch more from you. Thanks ❤
It’s absolutely beautiful
I have the same exact tent. Used it for the first time this weekend while hunting. It exceeded my expectations. I used an electric pump, took about 6 minutes to inflate. My only concern is the pressure behind the valves when deflating. Awesome tent!!
Oh I know! I've been trying to slowly release the air but it just bursts out when you get to a certain point
@RTSoutdoor yup, the first time I deflated it when testing it in my yard, scared the crap out of me. Lol. Had to check to make sure I still had all of my fingers.
@@luxurytentcamping btw, great review!! Wish it had been available when I bought. Hands down the best review on youtube, and ive seen them all. Lol
Thank you!
Oh I need a tent like that.
great detailed review, thanks!
You could use that as a garage for your truck
Excellent review! Just what i needed
Great review Nate.
I love this
Nice 👍 video 1 more part of this video how can fold this tent better ways
When you were talking about black absorbing heat, it made me think... I wonder if there's any solar panels that could go on that roof. Looks like there's plenty of space where solar power could be harnessed over that roof space!
I've seen there is a video on YT of a tent with solar panels but I havent watched it yet. I would think if you used anything like that one this one, it would have be very light and pliable, cause the frame is tough but the tent itself is canvas.
You can use the plyable roll up solar panels vs traditional panels.
Can the side windows and top have a mesh option for airflow during the day, but still have protection from outdoors? I see the canvas, and the clear attachment. Asking for the buggy months during the summer but still want air flow?
What are some of your suggestions for an awesome camping experience?
Hello
To get THIS tent.
Just ordered this tent because of your reviews. I just wish I could find reviews of it with AC and the best configuration for using AC and what size AC that is recommended. This is my first real tent.
Nice! You will not be disappointed! I'm actually starting to research ac units for this as well so I'll have some review videos up when the weather heats up 😊
@ got my koala 7 and was I surprised it’s redesigned. 2 doors instead of 1 and doesn’t have the zipper in the floor for the room divider anymore. I love it! Thank you for your videos as your videos is what made up my mind 🙂
I just bought this🥰
NICE!! You're gonna love it!!
Your detail on the whole tent is fantastic. What's your opinion on the chimney opening? Once the chimney is through the hole is there the potential for it to leak?
that is something I wondered myself actually and don't yet have experience with, however.. the opening is a ... sort of fabric I guess? Which you would think would absorb water if it were raining, and eventually begin to drip, but there are alot of videos of this tent being used in rain and snow, and it doesn't appear that is an issue, so it must be a waterproof fabric that is very tight fitting around the chimney. I'll be unboxing the stove soon, so hopefully I can get a better answer for this.
Great Review and I wanted the comparison. Do mention each room is about 8 x 12 but in one video you say the back room is slightly bigger and in the other you said the front room is bigger. Do you happen to have closer measurements of the sections?
Yep I was wrong about the back room being larger, only by a few inches, but I do have a video up showing every measurement of this tent. th-cam.com/video/a0Mh9gjlc6A/w-d-xo.html
Awesome video that is a nice tent
REALLY NICE TENT
Excellent video!
Thank you very much!
I love these reviews wow
Yeah I love this brand I've had the up five for about 4 years my kids are at the point where they don't want to be uncomfortable and they do not enjoy the outdoors quiet as much as I do sing this new tank you got would be perfect I just wonder if there would be any sort of way of having a second stove Jack put in the rear compartment my wife's not about being cold Sears South African they don't do Coldwell I don't know if you have any sponsored videos or contacts with the company if you do finding out if a second stove Jack could be put in the rear compartment would be much appreciated I enjoyed your video service the first one I've ever seen keep up the great work
Oh believe me, you don't even need a second stove jack. It EASILY gets near 80 in there even when it's in the teens outside. The issue with heat is keeping it warm through the night, you have to get up every once in a while to stoke the fire and keep it going, cause it if goes out it gets cold pretty quick, since it's breathable canvas. I'm presently looking into alternate heating sources to use during the night, cause the stove is AWESOME but yeah you want that nice steady warmth to last thought the night. But to answer the question, yes you definitely could put another stove jack in yourself, amazon sells stove jack kits actually. I'm going to add one to the rainfly myself.
This might be the best! I mean it's a freaking HOTEL! WORLD SMALLEST HOTEL!
Can you roll the tent up and put it away with the plastic windows still zipped in or do you have to take them out every time?
@chrisgatlin5832 you can definitely keep them in place, but what I found is that the more you leave in place the heavier it is. Especially the clear windows and door.
You are the best, thanks for that very complete review. I have a question for you, where, what brand and how much did the green base that you placed under the tent cost you? I think it is great and very strong. If you can leave us the link, I would be happy. Thanks friend for your contributions. Never change.
Thanks! YEs so that is a 28mil tarp I got from amazon, I'll leave the link from the exact listing I used, but it looks like that size is not available at the moment so you might have to do a search to find one. 28 mil is nice and thick and provides a good base. Doesnt need to be that thick but I like it lol, it's like rubber on one side and canvas on the other, I put the rubber side down.

In other air tent videos I've seen a pvc mat laid down beneath the tent. Also, made to measure floor carpets. Are these available as x-tras when purchasing the tent? BTW, there has to be some kind of workaround to make an opening for the stove in the rain cover.
Those options are unfortunately not available on the rbm website right now but I've been keeping an eye out as well. And yes definitely I've been looking at boot kits to put in my own stove jack
Wow! That’s amazing using the pump. Huge tent. When’s your first trip? What happened to your RV?
Still have the RV just adding some new adventures :) Waiting for cooler weather before we head out for a camping trip
what was the measurement of your tarp??, I want to buy one
@@commanderx2216 12x16
since the plastic windows use a different zipper than the mesh couldnt you just keep the mesh down as well and install the clear plastic for the windows or would it not work? Also is the rain fly needed to be waterproof or just for extra storm worthiness?
Good morning :) So, yes you definitely could leave the mesh windows down and use the plastic windows at the same time, they each have their own zippers. The rainfly is recommended but Ive seen alot of videos of people using this exact tent in the rain and they are not using the rainfly.
Can it stand strong wind ?
I took it camping in 14 degrees and decently strong winds last week and it stood great, I had stakes all around. I don't know crazy the winds could get before it became a problem but it held up great for me.
Suggestion, go to the party aisle at wallyworld and get some glow in the dark bracelets/necklaces and ziptie to guylines so there's no tripping during the middle of the night pee run.
That should come with a battery operated inflation device
This is my second time watching this particular video. I will tell you from eatching your other video on the smaller tent i stand with my recommendations that all three pieces be on the inside the mesh, the seetheu plastic the shade cover. And the stove jack is too high on this one, it needs to be lowered. The rain fly on this one doesn't accommodate the stove jack👎and you dont get the poles for creating the awning. Whats the dimensions on this tent?
Can a diesel heater be used with this?
Yes! I've not tried it myself but there are others on youtube who have, I plan on getting one in the near future myself
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Curious how long and sturdy the inflatable areas are. Anyone have this for more than a couple years in garage storage with higher temps or dry area and have the inflatables fail?
..nice review...the main tent is already waterproof, right? So there's no need to use the rain fly...or is it just an option?
According to the description on the website, the tent itself is made of a fabric that "wards off condensation". The description on the instructions says to avoid using it in heavy precipitation, and to use the rainfly. TH-cam is full of videos of this tent being used in downpours without the use of the rainfly, so we know it is treated, but the purpose of the rainfly is to prolong the durability of the tent, as prolonged use in those conditions would eat away at that treatment.
@@luxurytentcampingright. These tents aren't used in the tropics here. The UV rays will destroy it in months and the constant rain from our rain forests..yeah, I wish!
My only concern is snow load and high winds.
If you had poles, you could open the rain fly on both sides, increase your living space, and get extra protection from sun and rain
Yes! I actually did buy a set of those telescoping poles for this purpose exactly.
😊😊😊😊
wooooooooooow
No one covers the fact the rain cover lacks a stove opening. How important is the rain cover? My point is do you have to choose between cold and dry or warm and a tent that potentially leaks? Potentially a deal breaker and its not covered at all by anyone. Confused why they don;t bother with a stove opening?
well if you watched the whole video you know that I did cover that issue. I truly don't know why they would leave that out as it's obviously important for the rainfly to have that stove jack, like on the Panda. However, even though you shouldn't have to, adding a stove jack to the rainfly is something that can be done. The kits are available on amazon.
I want a review on how long the tent will last if used for extended periods. For example, would it be suitable to be used long term in case of emergency like hurricane Helene. Someone needs to do a video where they live out of the tent for 3 or more months or in lieu of that, leave it inflated for a few months to see how long the seams hold
That would no doubt make a great review. If I had the space to do it, I would definitely take that opportunity.
Now this is conTENT
Nice tent how much is every thing cost and car you use a car pump off your cigarette lighter ?
The whole combo including the tent and stove, is around $3000 right now. Yes you can definitely use a pumppowered by your car cigarette lighter, you just have to have the correct attachment to fit the valve.
Ok thank you I’m going to look right now
They've thought of everything.

Are you going camping in the rain or blizzard like all the other YT campers ? Make sure to take along a cute dog ! Starts hand pumping up tent, 2 days later and lost 10 pounds... got it inflated. You know they sell small electric/battery pumps for those tents......
Yes I camp in any weather and I have my whole life lol, not just when a camera is rolling. Using the hand pump was strictly for the video, as I even said in this video that I already have an electric pump [X].
I like to roll the doors the other way so you don't get a puddle of rain in it, if you get caught out
@dianegrimmitt4004 that's a great idea thanks 😊
Turner Parkway
You could have used a Coleman Quickpump
You don’t need to roll the windows down with the RAIN FLY on. That’s its job is to keep the rain off the tent and out of the windows.
I could be wrong but I don't recall saying you had to have the windows closed with the rainfly on. What I did say is if you have the canvas window covers rolled up outside, and the screens in place letting fresh air in, and then it starts to rain, you have to go outside of the tent to roll down the canvas over the windows. Having the rain fly on from the get go, just in case it rains, defeats the purpose of the windows altogether, especially the ones on the roof. That being said... if you roll into your campsite knowing it is more than likely going to rain... I can see applying the rain fly and being prepared, and yes, in those circumstances, you would then not need to do anything more to keep out the rain, including having your windows in whatever position your little heart desires lol :)
@@luxurytentcamping thanks for the response.
Do you like the tent? We are a family of 6 and I’m seriously looking at this tent.
Ps. Your video was excellent. Maybe I misunderstood the window part.
Georgianna Estate
No. Video on the fireplace??
Yeah sorry I haven't unboxed that yet. I was going to do it last week when it was down in the 30s here, so I could show the temp outside vs the temp inside with the stove, but my wife had a heart attack and we ended up in the hospital a few times for stents. Hopefully will be doing that soon though.
If the panda was the same size as this tent, you then would have the perfect tent. In my opinion this tent is lacking in four areas (again my opinion). 1st This tent NEEDS the back door with the windows. 2nd having the same ceiling windows as the panda would be 🔥. 3rd the rain fly NEEDS the stove jack. 4th this tent is too big to be pumping it up manually. Imagine doing it in the freezing rain 🥶. An included STRONG rechargeable IP rated airpump would be nice. The Koala v.2 should be just a bigger Panda. You could call it the Sloth 🦥
Totally agree :) I love this tent but it definitely could be better with those changes! I did buy an electric pump actually lol, I even had it when I made this video but I wanted to use the manual pump for the video just to show it. Never again lol! That was grueling! Now I plug that electric pump in and 5 minutes flat it's up :)
@RTSoutdoor Hey FYI, I don't think RBM are the originators of this tent. I think they are selling an older outdated version. There's another company that's selling an UPDATED version of the Coody tent. They actually have some of the updated features I requested, on a newer version of their Coody. They even mentioned and are taking pre-orders for the "Hub" right now. They also sell a electric Coody air pump on their site. I think the only advantage that RBM has over them is their tents come with a stove. The other company is called Oliezi Outdoors
@@duaneruffins I have seen this website yes, the Hub is actually not an updated version of the Koala 7, it is an accessory that can be used either as a tent itself, or to connect up to 4 tents together, with the "hub" in the middle. RBM is actually getting them soon as well, I can't wait! The electric pump Oliezi sells is just a different color and rebranded, it's the same pump I use, and can be purchased on Amazon now as well, but it's orange. It's a great pump :)
@@luxurytentcamping I'm familiar with the hub. Their tent itself is what I'm saying has actually been updated.
@duaneruffins can you give me a link? I'd love to see this. If you're referring to what they call the 17.2 it's the same as this one but the photos make it look like bith ends open.

Great tent but a bit pricey!
I do agree, the price seems up there, but I'll tell you, everything this tent has to offer has impressed me so much, that I immediately contacted the company and requested to become a brand ambassador, and that is something I just don't do as a rule. I've always felt that anyone promoting a certain product in their videos, is biased with their opinions, but the fact that I paid full price for this one and was so impressed, I just had to have more, and I am beyond proud to now be a representative of this company. And even moving forward with this company, you can completely trust that I will give my honest opinion on the products, because if I feel something could be improved on, it doesn't help the company or the consumer, if I don't say it. Thanks again for watching!
This tent costs more than the Warsun inflatable nightclub
