I was the second owner of the red "71 hemi 'Cuda convertible. I bought it from the original owner for $1700. in 1973. It was my daily driver for about 2 years. It was not an easy car to live with, but like an old girlfriend I have many fond memories. Back in the day, muscle cars were cheap, but I had to sell one to get the next. It was a wonderful time to be alive and into cars. I was able to own just about every muscle car worth owning. No regrets except that I couldn't afford to keep them all.
Great video John!! Thank you so much for doing this. Such a fun and amazing collection. The BEST people I know are part of our hobby and it makes me happy to see the folks and cars that make it all possible,
Although I've owned and driven all different makes of muscle cars, Mercury, Chevy, Dodge etc, I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Mopar muscle. Thanks for the interview John.
I remember sitting at a car show next to Wade at Ohlone College around 2003 with that Yellow 71 440 6 barrel car, he always won best of class at every show we were at even with the car he said he was learning with!

That's incredible! Thanks for sharing. It's great when former owners pop up in the comments.
I saw Wade's 71 red Heni Cuda convertible at Carlisle. Beautiful. Originally used by a handicapped driver.

He definitely made sure to buy the best examples of cars over the years! The options, the history, the documentation. Nothing but the best.
