Thanks a lot! Very informative. I think that I messed up my aerox's engine last summer, so I'll have to open it up and see what happened. I checked it out after the kick starter got stuck to find out that it ran out of water, I found the expansion tank empty.

@jakhy1198 mate I just got a 2010 Rox, bought it a bit blind as a running project but it was leaking coolant everywhere from flywheel casing, even coolant around the stator and ignition coil. I feel like there are bits missing, i.e there are two rubber bunged holes on the plate of the casing facing the engine.. should they have tubes in mate? I cant really find anything else on here 😂
Great tutorial. I just bought a aerox 50cc which has apparantly had the 70cc kit fitted. The bike takes some starting and have noticed is has a medimn reach plug but when i look at the plugs for the 70cc upgrade it says use long reach? Can you give me the pkug number you had in your 70cc upgrade please
Hey as you said in 11:20 that you dont want any water in your cilinder, but i made a mistake and just opened the cilinder and everything was meesed up. My piston is wet and idk what should i do. U have any advice for me?
Hello my friend do you now whats the real function of the 2 tubes goes from the top of the cilinder to carburator with water? If i eliminate them is any problem?
The 2 pipes that go from the head the to carb are simply to keep the carb warm it the winter to stop the throttle slider getting tight and jamming. You shouldn’t have an issue blocking these off
So the flow rate would still be standard flow rate per rpm, but you’d have to consult the manufacturer to see if this would be suitable amount of oil for your kit. I premix to be safe in two aspects, I know exactly what ratio is going in and I also know there isn’t a pump to fail.
@@jakhy1198 Thanks for the quick reply! Also, what size carburetor do you run for your 70cc setup? And do you have any recommendations for a good 70cc kit thats reliable but also fast?
@@lootje2005 I’ve used a whole range of carbs and kits, but currently I’m using a 19mm Dellorto PHBG, and a pm tuning single ring 70cc from PM directly. I’m getting quite impressive power out of this but also depends how you’ve got your transmission set up. Reliability wise the PM is great, but ultimately what it comes down to is care. Making sure to warm the engine up properly before riding and cooling it down correctly before turning it off, making sure you use a good quality 2t oil and also the correct safe 2t ratio. Also, it’s obvious but I’ll mention it, just don’t be pinning it for prolonged periods of time if yours is a high revving setup, I’d recommend getting a digital coolant gauge like I run and just keep and eye on it when you’re going to be heavy on the throttle for a longer period of time.
