I talked to a traxxas rep the other day. He said the only reason they came out with the v2 was because xmaxx owners complained about not being able to run the 6700mah battery. And ppl complained about buying the widekit. He said if it handled better, that's just a plus but ,it wasn't their intention.

I'm new to RC and looking to get one. What charger does that Zee Power battery use? Also, is going to that size battery safe for the motor and other electric components?

Yes the battery size is ok with the 9000 if buying just for the maxx i would get the 7000mah 4s from zee just because its lighter than the 9000

Good video champ :) will the v2 maxx wheels fit on the hoss? Also id love to see a comparison of the v2 maxx and the tekno mt410
Thanks! The MAXX uses 17mm wheel hex and the hoss uses 12mm wheel hex so you would need an adapter for the hoss.

Is the body the same or do they now have a stretched body to go with the V2?
Yes the body is stretched. Looks like the bed is longer.
