Two of my favourite humans. Thank you for this amazing podcast. You are both appreciated. I love your humility, authenticity and compassion. Respect. Love from South Africa!
I just realised that Huberman doesn’t get that personal. Usually he talks about other people and how he thinks about things they’ve said. Or even reflections about his life that you can tell are well considered and feel a bit intellectualised/emotionally distant from him. So it’s interesting to hear him kind of bumble through his thoughts on family/kids/etc. Just goes to show you can’t deconstruct/control/organise/intellectualise everything. I can empathize; it’s a journey for a lot of us with attachment trauma from childhood. Good wishes 💛
He is a useless example. He is showing men how to be closed off, abusive, unexamined, mess that is projecting outwards instead of fixing himself. Our thinkers and role models should be people who live with class and grace in all aspects of their lives. There are billions of people who are good in their field but shit at being good peope. He is just another one of billions. Find the true diamonds and elevate them.
I heard the conversation in detail and understand the human need to get the meaning of life and themself, being able to overcome all the tricks of living. I’ve notice the struggles of others and myself from my 67 yo perspective. My heart and my mind are been plenty in peace since I decided to follow the greater thinkers of the Bible since the late 30’s. It’s a very complete manual to live whether you are religious or not. I’ll never understand the needs of drugs as I love to feel every emotion in full; I learn from all of all. This is my humble experience, doesn’t have to be anybody else.

Shame about the 6 women he dated long term, lied to and was planning families with. No mention of them or mistakes he made there. Do some research online. This episode made my blood run cold. I was hoping he would own it and set an example. Sadly not.
@@chrismackerdush7728 If it was BS they would say that. Their silence on it speaks volumes. I think Huberman knows that if he were to speak on the subject and lie about it by saying things like it didn't happen, the journalist is "sour", or the women are lying, he'd be opening himself up for defamation lawsuits that would get all the evidence shown in court and likely cost him--like what happened with Trump's E Jean Carroll lawsuit. Since his pathological cheating and manipulative behavior towards those women is mostly unrelated to his work, it's far more advantageous for Huberman to just never speak on the subject and let stans like you pretend that it didn't happen. Of course, it does make him look like quite the hypocrite whenever he veers into the realm of relationship advice.
Amazing content and a true kinship between the two. Such an amazing episode. Great back and forth and so good to see a healthy respect for one another within a brotherhood. This.... more of this!!!
Really good podcast gents. Andrew's appreciation for you at the end shows what a genuinely good human being you are Lex, thanks for doing this podcast mate.
Hey, Lex & Andrew! I would like to propose an idea! As a viewer, I would like to be able to see both the interviewer & interviewee at the same time! This would make my experience much better. Not just when one person is talking, please. I enjoy reading facial expressions & this affect would make me feel more like a fly on the wall. Thank you! Keep up the great content fellas
Was looking for a comment where someone noticed too! It's fairly heavy. People on reddit are saying it's either a nicotine pouch in his lip or some sort of retainer / oral corrective device.
Hey Lex. just a quick suggestion if i may. It sounds like there might be a deesser (De-S'er) on the mics to reduce the harsh S sounds. I noticed because the S's on Hubermans mic sound really compressed. maybe reduce it by like 20-30 percent? cuz if its too extreme it starts to sound like a speech impediment haha.
I literally looked up “Does Heuberman have a lisp?” Then I started to assume he is wearing Invisalign or something causing the trouble with the S’s. I went so far as thinking maybe it was a dare or lost bet that he has to wear something in mouth during entire interview. Either way, I’d marry either of them! 🤓🤓
@@melreed1976 its a great vision. Judging a person without knowing the details of a particular situation is futile. We were the women he was with faithful? How did they perform in the relationships? Without these specifics a fair assessment is impossible.
I've been able to control my pupil size since I was a kid and doctors have always told me it's impossible and they don't understand how I'm doing it. This is the first time I've ever heard someone talk about it.
I’m having trouble conceptualizing that quote at the very end… is he saying that we actually can guide and know exactly where we are in life and where our life will go? But by knowing yourself deeply?
Dr. Huberman, how much of the "afternoon crash" can be attributed not to caffine intake but disregulation or dysfunction of the the steroid hormone cortisol? I know only so much can be addressed in one podcast but perhaps taking on smaller topics and going deeper on them would add more understanding, nuance and depth.
It's just circadian rhythm on a 12h clock - most people get mid afternoon dip similar to before bed, could also be lack of sleep, having a big meal before so blood glucose dip, stress, dehydration, caffeine crash, and other similar reasons. Every person is different so you'd have to read some studies on it from researchers who study this. I doubt Huberman is an expert in this.

I remember finding these podcasts in 2018ish.. I never thought they'd blow up and I thought I found something super special.. now these are nearly household names.. I wish I had grown like these people.. I failed.
@@lu5445 i agree with this. His personal life has no bearing on the good he's provided to so many people, including myself. At the end of the day he's human, and we've all made mistakes.
I saw another doctor (not physician) on TH-cam do an analysis on Andrew Huberman. He basically explained that Andrew Huberman is being a “guru” for the lack of a better word for men who are seeking to emulate Huberman, which makes a lot of sense, as in his ideals (like banging lots of women) even though is not the purpose of his podcast may be the latent outcome of listening and following him. All I’m trying to say is that someone can have the right motives, but still have blind spots in their own ideals, especially when they are trying to be a mentor for young people. Even though Hubermans main concern is to spread science information, the outcome for him has been riches and fame, and idolizing him is to some extent accepting the idea that cheating and having lots of intercourse with multiple women is the obscured goal behind it. I explained this terribly but it was a very interesting explanation, and thought I’d throw that out here to feature other ideas, and deviate from the echo chamber which the comment section often is. I like Huberman but, always be careful of having idols and false prophets.
hey man if you gossip about peoples personal lives, make sure its an issue that matters. if youre a guy who thinks theres something wrong w dating multiple women before you settle down (the norm for guys who can), youre dry snitching on the fact you probably arent attractive to the opposite sex.
@@onsidelegal1002 I have a gf rn and the last 5 girls I been with all had bf when I banged them. I’m no saint, like I said I listen to Huberman. If you read what I said I qualified it by saying I’m just trying to offer a counter perspective. He’s a public facing person, the article that came out was bad, but the analysis was interesting.
My first introduction to Lex was a few years ago and it was the video of him choking Huberman out - as an admitted Huberman fan, it made me want to choke Lex out; at the time I didn't know Lex would probably maul me and that it was all done in good nature. I revisit these episodes with the two of you quite often, and it sets the example of how I'd like my current friendships to be. Thank you for setting the example
Lex, great work as always! Huberman is tricky, I find him hard to listen to now. Hard to separate the weird, deceptive, personal neediness from the credible doctor.

Great interview. Mr. Fridman -- while discussing productivity, you mentioned having 11 items on your daily list. Could you please share those? Thanks!
Motherhood is here and I'm absolutely thrilled! I can't wait to have a bunch of kids to train jiu-jitsu with their dad and muay thai with me!
I see Lex Fridman and Andrew Huberman in a thumbnail and I click Like, and then start watching it :)
I love that they talked about controversy, but not THE controversy
Because it’s complete BS written by a sour ‘journalist’?
@@chrismackerdush7728 that's fine, but why avoid it entirely?
Exactly 😂 Although 1:39:25 is your answer.
Whatever you make of it
@@chrismackerdush7728 If it was BS they would say that.
I was hoping you’d address the womens’ claims like you did with Kevin Spacey.
Amazing content and a true kinship between the two. Such an amazing episode. Great back and forth and so good to see a healthy respect for one another within a brotherhood. This.... more of this!!!
Always a pleasure to listen to you two together
Bros..before.. hos. Bros I believe include Kanye. Most feeling and love ever expressed was for bulldog Costello..
Woooow! One hour forty-seven minutes and eighteen seconds absolutely madness level of mindset and consciousness. Thank you guys, amazing!
So glad to have people out there like the two of you, thank you for this. Love from 🇨🇦
Really good podcast gents.
Had me hooked in the first couple seconds with that banger of a bar!! “Don’t eat with people you wouldn’t starve with” 😤
I've never really heard dr hubermans lisp like I'm hearing it in this pod, I'm I hearing things.
I think he got a retainer or something
Was looking for a comment where someone noticed too! It's fairly heavy. People on reddit are saying it's either a nicotine pouch in his lip or some sort of retainer / oral corrective device.
Pod person. He's been replaced.
It sounds very similar to the invisalign lisp.
What's the Yerba Mate drink that Andrew is drinking? I couldn't see the full name on the can.
Title is bs. Huberman never gave advice about how to handle simultaneous relationships like he did!
I dont think most of us will ever need advice for that
This was one of the best bro podcasts, just two brothers talking about life and stuff!
Hey Lex. just a quick suggestion if i may.
I noticed Huberman’s speech impediment with letter “s”. It was irritating
Aww around 1:28:25 his vision for a family is really touching. He has a great vision!
Look up his cheating. It’s actually quite sinister. Not heartwarming at all.
@@melreed1976 its a great vision. Judging a person without knowing the details of a particular situation is futile. We were the women he was with faithful? How did they perform in the relationships? Without these specifics a fair assessment is impossible.
They didnt talk about the controversy. Or did i miss it?
No. 1:39:25 😂
@12:20 - who are they talking about specifically?
You guys hve so much tenderness and freshness in your soul❤ In the stock market ,once in a while you find a stock that makes a difference in your life …that is what the HLB podcast is to me, I have discovered the new me! I love his voice ( and of course not to mention his face 😂) I dread the day when he exits the scene, I will end my you tube premium subscription 😅 but as always thank you both for adding so much value to our lives ! Men in black rock ❤❤❤❤
Your interview with Assange is on my wishlist. Thank you for this interview.
I remember finding these podcasts in 2018ish.. I never thought they'd blow up and I thought I found something super special.. now these are nearly household names.. I wish I had grown like these people.. I failed.
Anyone able to explain the sudden lisp?
Your wonderful friendship and profound respect for each other is evident in these chats. I love that you're both eternally intellectually curious.
Time stamp for where he addresses his 5 mistresses ?
Doesnt exist xD
1:39:25 😂
One non sentence, feel like there should have been a bit more
Yeah, "surprisingly" not a word lol.

Always a delight to watch and listen to you two🙏Thank you
Nearly 2am here, but its oh so hard to resist. You guys make great content. Real stuff.
I soooooooo LOVE listening to you two converse!!! Two of the BEST!! 🥰🤍
wow top class! both my favourite podcasters
You guys are terrific, been watching you both for quite zoom time now.
Love you Lex ❤
No. You don't. You don't even know the guy.
@@theodosios2615You also don't know me? Why say something at all if it's just going to be negative?
Thank you Lex and Andrew you both are awesome and I appreciate you both.
the controversy I heard about is that he allegedly had 6 girlfriends at the same time that didn't know about each other
Wow, how terrible.
Top G shit!! Oh wait it's the wrong channel
Is that actually true? I recall reading the article that came out in Time, I think, about that, but I don't recall anything about 6 girlfriends
Thats just defamation, whether he did or not, its not anyones business and has nothing to do with him as an educator.
@@lu5445 i agree with this. His personal life has no bearing on the good he's provided to so many people, including myself. At the end of the day he's human, and we've all made mistakes.
Great talk guys.
Thank you Andrew, and Lex.
Huberman's main concern is making money, not spreading scientific information.
Yeah not a fan but you can see by the comments how effective he (Huberman) is at influencing people
whats the video called?
hey man if you gossip about peoples personal lives, make sure its an issue that matters. if youre a guy who thinks theres something wrong w dating multiple women before you settle down (the norm for guys who can), youre dry snitching on the fact you probably arent attractive to the opposite sex.
Thanks men, cant wait to check out Hollis. Have been getting into Jung via AA and the Lemonparty pod
Andrew should have mentioned that he already went over the hit-piece with Jocko for those of us that want to hear about it.
Thank you, I was searching for something like this.

H U B E R M A N AHHH.
literally my brain anytime I see him on any podcast. I’m a simple man, I see Dr Hubermans face, I click on podcast
Huberman you're the man . Lex you're the man.. loving u guys has never been easier
I love your content, you and Dr. Andrew inspire me.
Lex, great work as always! Huberman is tricky, I find him hard to listen to now. Hard to separate the weird, deceptive, personal neediness from the credible doctor.
Deceptive needy ? Do you know him personally ?
@@GardenRetriever yeah I’ve seen the Reddit on him and now I’ll have to agree he’s deceptive and it’s a bad look on Lex as well
