I'm super happy for Sajam that he was able to commentate a high-level KI tournament; I know it was a dream of his to commentate KI at EVO and I remember how gutted he looked on stream when he was talking about the cancellation. It's wonderful that he was able to make his dream a reality just by being that goddamn determined. Cheers!
One of the best parts about the tournament was the chat not being dicks to the players who were clearly beginners. Idk if it was just a testament to Sajams chat or the ki community as a whole but it was really nice to see!
I'm pretty sure you can still find games, but apparently the windows store version is much more populated than the steam version due to crossplay and being the only version on PC for the longest time. I found games just fine myself on the windows store version, couldn't say anything about the steam one. Also I think you can try out the one on windows store for free, you just get locked out of most characters besides Jago and a few you can unlock, alongside a weekly rotating character.
Fun fact the PlayKI hashtag on your video leads mostly to kids videos and videos about kids doing stuff so there's a possibility that someone gets introduced to fighting games by watching kids videos
