Samsies. I've never been confident enough to tank before in any MMORPG, but after watching all these vids while leveling my Bard to 60, I'm going through them all again as a Paladin and it's quelled any anxiety.
Your guides help keep me from being an outright stumbling noob when running these things. You're very clear yet concise, and all of your guides are very helpful.
Just wabted to say I recently started a static that aims to clears all content in the game from arr to ew. And these guides have been a godsend, thank you for years of dedication to making clear visual guides!
So I recently started to play this game, coming from Guild Wars 2 and.. these guides are just incredible, the amount of work and dedication is impressive. They are really helpfull! And for what I can see,you are still doing these for the new content, so thank you for making life easier for any newbies like me!
as someone who recently picked up the game and was tasked with leading my fc through these raids [since they aren't in roulettes] having easy accessible and well written and structured guides like these is a gods' sent.
I love how you have the name of an ability and then a subtext which is what to do with it like 'interrupt'. And then you had the ability 'Obliterate' and the subtext was 'ouch'. That made me giggle.
My FC will be doing a synced run of this tomorrow so this is a very useful resource to have even if some aspects of the game are different from ARR to ShB
Don't think you mentioned it, but any time you encounter any incarnation of ADS(and its drones), it will deal magical damage only, rendering block CDs obsolete since it fully bypasses the block mechanics. Useful to know for PLDs since they will be left with far less useable cooldowns then normaly. Both tanks are viable but WAR have much higher survival rate since they don't rely on block and bring a much larger HP pool, while PLD brings silence in case you lack BRD/MNKs to handle interupts.
For this very reason, as of _Stormblood_ magic attacks are blockable. Not that anybody is terribly worried about their Coil viability these days, but still.
For Cadeceus, I'd advice to have the MT move the original snake, since their emnity is well established, rather then the OT having to pick up the freshly spawned snake with no headstart on aggro, this eliminates most chanses of any aggro issues while the snakes are being moved into positions. OT simply grabs aggro on the new snake, then proceeds to tank at the start position of the fight while MT can safely move the original snake away to designated spot.
I'm eyeing to do this turn synced with willing FCmates while in Astronomy tome gear to see if I can get illumination module materials to drop. Time to die to the Cadoosh!
I'm planning on starting Coil. I've beaten the primals and tbh, once I figured out they're rotations and abilities, they didn't pose much of a challenge. How are coils, the first few turns, compared to primals when it comes to difficulty. I want to move on to coil because nothing seems to challenge me anymore.
Two Geeky Friends Since the new gear has been released, these first coils have been nerfed quite a bit and are remarkably easier to heal than what they used to be
I just want to let you know that I highly values these guides as a new player even 7 years later. Thank you so much!
Me too !

As a noob who started last week, I concur haha.
Ditto
And *_I_* highly value them 8 years later >:D

I have two newbie friends who are thinking of doing this synced, so I've tossed them a link to you guide, and I need the refresher too!
Please never delete these!! They remind me of the old days ❤

Great guide clearly spoken and very understandable to follow. Thank you for the t guides.
thanks for not having an awful voice
love these guides. imagine going into this battle blind 0.0
I’ve done it before…. Why I’m here now lol
I love your guide videos, please keep up the great work!

Got into ishgard about a week ago and i m planing on doing coils this weekend if posible. You have my thanks.
The real challenge is finding a group these days.

Great work on these!

Im starting to notice a pattern of subtle sarcasm lmao
Just getting into FFXIV and I love your quotes. Plus wanted to know about vanilla 1.0 raiding and how it was vs now.
Awesome guide as usualy. Thanks!
Great accidently unlocked this
Now I have to pay attention
The wait time is so long!!!!!
I waited 2 hours before I withdrawn. It takes forever to find 2 tanks and 2 healers.
mizzteq i'm in love with your voice! fantastic video guides as always, keep them coming!
Another guide dripping with awesomesauce.
I'm eyeing to do this turn synced with willing FCmates while in Astronomy tome gear to see if I can get illumination module materials to drop. Time to die to the Cadoosh!
Tried queuing up synced but it will take more than 30 min…guess I’ll have to unsync this one? :/
U can find a group in PF

Turn 1 through 4 are very very easy now. If you want a little bit of a challenge mechanics wise try tun 5.
Do silence potion work on ADS?
Melee and tanks should try to avoid these at all times. *_Tank eats attack_*
how to join
Gonna try and solo these with my maxed gunbreaker or paladin
Heyy MTQcapture 😊 are you playing on ps4?
lol you can hear how her voice changed xD
Hi > 😊
wow, so weird how raiding was 8 years ago, with the healers not doing any attempt at dpsing it would have been much easier to clear
Is this hard to heal?
Two Geeky Friends Since the new gear has been released, these first coils have been nerfed quite a bit and are remarkably easier to heal than what they used to be
cadush haha good one
came for the guide. stayed for her voice
What's so special about it.
@@akatsuki20113 they're simps
The days where healers dont need to dps
can you sing some lullaby and upload it :P i could use it to sleep... or wake up
To think with current BiS gear in storm blood you can finish this place in 2 minutes solo
Doing unsynced LUL why would you even bother
My favorite part of this video was how you said Poop!
