I am a few decades older than you and I need to learn how to draw floor plans for my business idea. I found your video super helpful ans SO inspiring. Thank you.🙏
🖊️ I should have found your channel 6 years earlier. Now i am learning French and was in my final year but didn't graduate because of the country's coup. Now i am planning to study abroad, majoring in interior design. Thank you for explaining this career so well.
A divine sort of plan is that employing enduring materials such as stone and that anticipates additions and reworkings from the get-go, rather than just moving or destruction. In short, a real homestead to be cherished for generations.
Thank you so much 🙏 it realy helped me now in my backyard i built a big house for myself so i can have fun with my friends tbh you got a sub rn cause the house i made looks like a mansion 😊😊
I used to love CAD, but post stroke my walls just seem to slip around all over the place. glad to find this video. will just go back to paper. The scale ruler is a new thing you have brought to my notice, thanks very much
Thank you so much! you're so organized and lovely. I am a new interior design student and you just made this like a simple straight to the point introduction for me. I will definitely check the Interior design playlist
I have a curious question. End grain of lumber is typically represented by an [X] .. but is there a standardized symbol to represent side grain of lumber? The typical reverse hatch betwixt lines to represent plywood layers is insufficient, so I presently use a short single line with half sided arrow points (on opposing sides) at each end of the line to represent the linear grain of lumber. This symbol is quite handy for details where I show corner assembly on deck or wall framing.
currently a freshman architecture student and my most hated thing about floorplans is measuring out the rooms then remembering you have to add the thickness of the walls, which in turn makes the room shrink a little... (i haven't heard anything about how to fix it:[ )
🖊I really enjoyed watching your video. I am actually a 1st-year Landscape architect student and most of the information you gave me is what we also do but I really enjoyed watching your video. Please recommend any Landscape architecture channels if you know of any. Thank you so much🥰
Thank you so much for the information in this video. I have always had a keen interest in architecture but did not study the subject. I want to learn how to design floor plans to assist me in property development and am so happy to have found your channel. Thanks for sharing your knowledge - I am so grateful.
Ohhhh thanks so much! Most days it's a birds nest (I'll be honest 🤣🪺) I use denman brush, cantu avocado lotion, and Umberto Gianni hair gel. Or any hair gel that's runny xx
My uni still restricts us to manual drafting for atleast the first two years. It has helped me make any design that I'm dealing with so much more personal and characteristic before I proceed with softwares.

Ok you got me! I for things like that I get out the promarkers for some colour. I don't love it but it's cleaner (to me) that adding that grain effect
