      You should check out our undertail/taillight combo instead of this tail light here.

      Btw I bought a grom and I have one now. 2018 🎉

      @@TSTindustries will this light work with that combo?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gagan-tb2pp If you are asking about the undertail/fender eliminator/integrated tail light combo then no. The tail light for the undertail setup is made specifically to fit in that setup.

    Does anybody happen to know which wires to tap the license plate light into?

    What is the size on the screw that you used during install to hold the brake light to the bike? Mine didn’t seem to come with any, but I’m not certain that it was actually supposed to

    • @RandyC2393
      @RandyC2393 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was supposed to come with two screws. I just ordered one and mine did. I'm sure if you call customer service they might help you out with that.

      You figure out thr screw size?

    Installed mine but the signals don't blink yellow at all it pops on for a second then nothing after that. Break light works just fine when I grab the break. Did I get a defective one?

    • @TSTindustries

      It sounds like you may need an LED Flasher Relay if you don't already have one.

  • @jamesdahlgard
    @jamesdahlgard 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How would I incorporate my stock license plate light wire into the current set up? It seems that the plugs here don't provide any solution for that.

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's pretty simple. The four position connector that carries the brown and green wire on our subharness has two open positions for ground and +12 switched by ignition key. The terminals in these MTW110 plugs are pretty easy to remove and swap. When you remove your stock fender lighting connector, get a pin or tiny flathead screwdriver, and unlock the stock license plate light wires out of their connector and move them to the open positions on the subharness plug from the new light.

    • @TSTindustries

      No, only one relay is needed for your entire bike.

    I didn’t see you change a relay here. Do I need the load balance resistors AND a relay?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you use a relay do not install the resistors. We have a separate video showing the relay installation on this bike.

    When I brake it flashes but stay flashing it doesn’t stop. Is this because I need a new flasher?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, this is because the tail light is in a mode that does that. You can press the program button to change the light patterns. Here is a video we made about the program button and light function: th-cam.com/video/o-XEvWhVNho/w-d-xo.htmlsi=S_x6zrW2XU8llvlQ

    for this install is there a seperate relay I need just for the tail light? I already have the tst relay upfront for the flushmount signals.

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Only one relay is needed to control your entire signaling circuit (front & rear) so you will not need any additional components for this install.

    Can I still add the TST LOW PROFILE LED REAR TURN SIGNALS with these for more visuality? How would I do that if i can?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is technically possible but will not be plug and play. The signal leads from the tail light will have to be spliced in to the positive signal leads that go to the low profile signals

    • @CasChet1
      @CasChet1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just installed mine very easy to do however when I apply the rear brake it doesn't light up. Any thoughts/suggestions

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The best place to get help with your TST parts is our support department accessible through our website. Typically we hear about this symptom when the rear brake switch on the bike is not adjusted properly and it holds the brake light on by default. That way when you press the brake it doesn't get brighter because it is in brake mode already. Please check your rear brake switch and if that doesn't help you please contact our support department.

    Will this work with any fender eliminator?

    • @TSTindustries

      Any fender eliminator that allows the stock tail light to be used. But obviously we prefer ours. ;)

  • @RotorPilot

    The rear brake does not trigger the brake lights, only the front brake does... is this normal?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, this means your rear brake switch is either disconnected, or adjusted too hard. Check out this video for more info.
