How to store Carrots for Up To 6 Months!

Why would you need to store 25 lbs of carrots?! Because it will Save you MONEY in the long run!
Prices at our local Walmart....1 lb bag $0.98. 5 lb bag $3.88.
25 lb bag at our local bulk food store, Smart and Final for only $9.99!
Several stores will carry bags of juicing carrots for significantly less than your standard small bags.
Items you will need to store your carrots. Remember you can re use everything, but the carrots 🤣😜
20-25 gallon tote bin
150 lbs of play sand

It would be a good idea to start filling the tub wherever you plan on it being until you use the carrots up.

Yes absolutely! The end weight is about 175 lbs so that should be considered when setting up.

I will absolutely do an update! I can carrots also but honestly it isn't my favorite method for storing them. I'm going to be trying out freeze drying them also at some point.

They kept VERY WELL! They did grow some roots 😂 but they didn't get soft at all and we ate them all in 5-6 months.
