Amen, Tim I'm agreeing with you. I grew up around horses and my dad had his favorite develop a cancer on his eyelid. Dad was a physician, but he knew God and believed in prayer. We prayed and that cancer fell off within a week. We gotta love that beagle. 🤠🤠

I just said a little prayer for the Beag while standing outside on my front stoop. I'm hoping he'll recover. I say that because lots of people are praying for the Beag, I know God shares our love for our animal friends, and He answers prayers. Peeps, a budgie I brought home last May after she was fledged, was sick for two weeks, which just about broke my heart. So I fervently prayed for her. Now she's a feisty "Birdie With Attitude", and I'm totally grateful!
BTW, thank you for all those great recipes, and for all the hugs!

I'm so thankful for being able to make it to Lehman's to see y'all. I went with my grandpa who was a Vietnam Navy veteran. December 21st 2023 several months after hearing you speak, grandpa was called to heaven. He greatly enjoyed the event and all the time we spent traveling to go see my daughter who is three years old. Grandpa was thankful for the recognition you gave to all service men and women. When he was in the service it wasn't appropriated like it is today. Thank you Kent, Shan, and the four legged friends for the videos and especially to you Kent, Shan, Lehman's general store and the Lord above for a wonderful day on your book tour last year. It's a wonderful memory of spending time with my grandpa who I deeply miss . God bless and I'll see y'all down the memory trail.

Kent, that's not a stroke the Beag' has had, that's called "Vestibular" syndrome/disease. The giveaway is the tilted head. It's to do with the 'vestibule' part in the inner ear. It affects old dogs and clears up in a few days but it can either go away entirely or it can recur over and over. There's usually no treatment for it other than just caring for him for a few days until it clears up.
Check with your vet and I stress, check with a GOOD vet !

I prayed for your pup, I've got a pup almost 10 she got bladder cancer, breast cancer, and it moved to her lungs. But she has a good quality of life, just tired when she walks and really hard to pee. Love your Vid's. Keep em coming you are good source of cooking and inspiration for me.

I like to put mine in a yeti ice chest once it reaches 205 degrees f, and let it rest as as i can wrapped in pink paper

My son found your Original seasoning while he was in Oklahoma on a waterfowl hunt. I tried it on some boneless skinless chicken thighs on the grill. It is now my go to seasoning. Love it!!

I’m a vegetarian, but I cook for a family of omnivores, and every recipe I’ve made from you has been extremely well received. I like the balance of flavors you use, and the cooking methods and ingredients are just so satisfying. I’ll be making this fried chicken when the kids are home from college for spring break.
Your blooming onion is sublime and is often requested for special celebrations, along with your tres leches cake. My favorite is your cowboy beans; I skip the ham hock and use some liquid smoke and aji chili powder instead, and they are sublime.

I'm a retired LA studio lighting guy, and lighting is what makes your product shine...literally! Great job! Back light, fill light, Key light...great job! Safety Advisory: You should take the fowl out of the water BEFORE marking the level on the Dutch oven. If you mark the level with the bird in the water then fill to that level with oil, you will have more oil than you had water, and when you put the bird into the oil you could overflow the oven, especially if you’re cooking a larger bird than a Cornish game hen.
