My name is Matthew S. Alfstad and I just lost my best friend, the love of my life and my whole world on the 27th of June 2022. We had been married for 30 years 3 months and 17 days when she lost her battle with cancer. We got married 9 days after she turned 18 and I miss her so bad. She wanted so much to make it to 1 more of your concerts but never got the chance. You all brought so much joy to her in life and I want to thank you for that. My husband used to play this song all the time for me and tell me to listen to the words because it’s how he felt. We married when I was 17 and made it 30 years before he passed away in July of a heart attack. He was only 49.
This is the first time I’ve been able to listen to some of it without breaking down. I still can’t make it through the whole song but I’m working on it.
The pain I feel is indescribable......
Life is short. Don’t waste it arguing over crap that doesn’t even matter! Spend as much time as you can with those you love.... you never know when their time is up....or yours.

Mike Peterson Yes there is a syndrome called broken heart syndrome it happens when someone is going through an insane amount of emotional mental trauma so yes u can. Like shay said stress but negative emotions affect different parts of the body negatively.

Actually, it's completely possible to die of a broken heart. It's called broken heart syndrome, and it's actually a heart attack that just feels like your heart is breaking. (the feeling you get in your chest when you're sad/cry)
