It sure is, although you could say that about some of the other Elektron machines as well. :)

hmm... I have a AR MKII, A4 MKII & DT II. I have been GAS'ing hard for a Octatrack for a while. At this point I am thinking why have I waited so long?
Do you have yours integrated in your set up or standalone? I have been trying to get my head around functions and workflow... and thinking running the A+B cue from my mixer into the AB/CD inputs.
    Anyway I digress cool sound!

@@FlynnTaggart23 Hi Flynn, I only got the Octatrack recently but I was also thinking why have I waited so long. I mainly got it because I wanted a performance sampler that could sample my synths in stereo. Before getting it I wasn't sure if it would feel as much of a performance instrument as the Rytm and A4, because I love using the pads and scenes on the Rytm, and the performance macros on the A4. However, since getting the OT I've found that it's not just about the fader, but using functions such as the encoders, fills and trigs at the same time really make it feel like an instrument that can make a performance feel as alive and as enjoyable as using the Rytm and A4. I've mainly used it standalone so far besides 1 session with the Rytm, which feels like a perfect combo, but would like to try other setups in the future. Thanks for the interest and kind words!
