  • For a change on pace, let's take a look at two very not serious runners compete at the Gorge Waterfalls 30K trail running race in Oregon put on by Daybreak Racing. Meet Stephanie and Simon, two partners of people who take running much more seriously, who often do some race distance. Their race distances may be shorter, but they are definitely having way more fun.
Hope you enjoy this trail running documentary film! 🎥

Do these two think running is supposed to be... enjoyable?! They should be questioning their life choices at every turn!

That is a perfect running video. Cannot be improved upon. Bravo! And congratulations to the runners :)

I was on pins and needles the whole way, the tension I felt in anticipating the results was palpable! So much high stakes placed on the complete lack of training! Soooo epic! 🔥🔥🔥

Getting dragged by dogs sounds like epic speed work. 🙌 for epic performances and taking the process seriously!

You can't put a price on the epicness of an epic soundtrack.

I had little to do with it. I was just documenting.

Also, dogs should always greet people at the end of races. NYRR should be taking notes on how to improve the race experience.

Drinking, socialising, smiling...just look at these poor hobbyjoggers!? They clearly have no idea the epicness of grinding 5am mile reps in the rain, round a grey industrial estate😒

I do love (not grind) the 5am mile reps, but am also found drinking, socialising, smiling and eating pizza......does that make me a serious hobbyjogger? ;-)

Very much liked this unserious one - nice one! Running, dogs and whiskey - what's not to like?

Congrats on not being last! I believe the keys to their epicness were 1) dogs, 2) alcohol, and 3) peach rings. I'll be sure to work more of each into my own training!

Friends of mine said I should follow you as I’m serious about running, well I’m trying to improve my running, apparently you are seriously very serious about serious running! I’ve just started out and trying to increase my mileage, at the moment I’m running about 100 miles per week, but it’s not serious running, just rolling the legs, you know. Anyway any advice would be welcomed.

Just amazing how unseriously people can approach running. Needed to document it. Otherwise people wouldn’t believe it

A pre race beer an then a swing of booze??! That's an unsubscribe from me, there should be at least three of those. Each.

I had to hit the thumbs down. I can’t thumbs up this lack of serious running. What is wrong with them?
