2,3k feet on 4 miles, is your local hill k2 or what? but yeah, trail's chill af, you don't destroy your knees to keep a fast pace, instead the pace is determined by the geography and you try to avoid falling and destroying your knees.

(In all seriousness, did a 10-mile trail race while in Moab... so much fun! the shorter trail stuff is amazing, but most people equate trail running with ultramarathons, which is unfortunate, but had to keep the video streamlined)

When I asked a FF mgr about trail races, they mentioned WSER & Cool 50k. I asked about shorter races. He paused, scratched his head, and said he equated trail running with ultra running.🤷♂️
