    • @JoeTheFarmer

      Hey! It's been eye opening really. It's almost like a mower/mulcher/tiller and flail in one. And does all of the above pretty well. They make a smaller one that Tony has run on his 25hp tractor but I haven't tried that one. I can say that it would devour privet and bamboo. • @brianlb78

      A forestry mulcher even on a skid steer will take down 8-12" diameter trees though this wont. This is nice but what it's taken down isn't much bigger than what a rotary cutter can take down or a flail mower. I'd like to see it on a 6" diameter tree or something, otherwise most of what was done here could be done by pushing it over with the feel or one of the mowers I mentioned and you don't have to worry about a large section shooting under the tractor ripping of a line or something.

  • @marclambert2936

    How do you think the MP560 would work on grinding pine stumps in the 8"-10" range to 1" below grade with a 75 HP John Deere 5075E? I am having 3 acres of pine forest timbered. I was wondering if I cut the pine stumps with my chain saw to ground level, would the MP560 be able to grind the remaining stump to 1" below ground level?

    • @JoeTheFarmer

      I think it would clear them easily. The hardest part is your 5075 prob has power shuttle so learning to slowly feather into it would be the only challenge. But man, that tree saw by Baumalight would keep you from needing to use a chainsaw. That thing is impressive. But yes, the mulcher should clear pine as long as the stumps are reasonable and you take it slow. The thing is a hunk of iron. Can’t break it.

    Dont they have a skid steer mount that is hydraulic? Could you have gotten that and put it on your lift on front of the tractor to enable driving forward?

    • @JoeTheFarmer

      Great question. Yes they do; but not for a tractor. The Skid Steer would handle it well because of higher hydraulic flow. A tractor at best is 10-12 gpm where a high flow skid steer is up to 40. Just not enough flow in a 3rd function.

      @therealmccoy9031 gotcha. The clutch is very resilient, but I wouldn’t purchase this with a shuttle shift. The machine in the video is a power shuttle so I was using neutral with the brake going backwards downhill, and then put the wand in fwd and it would creep up without even using the foot clutch. There is an excellent illustration on the Baumalight website. But min is 45 hp for this mulcher. There are others that are smaller for more compact machines

      My next video will be the mulcher on the back of a TYM 5520. A 55hp machine. It handled it great. The mulcher is heavy, so rear lift needs to be over 2100lbs.

    This Baumalight mulcher is one of the most impressive thing I have seen on a tractor. What do you think???

    Does the $22,000 come with a tractor?😂😂

      Not cheap, but commercial equipment never is. Land clearing is big business. Someone could make some good money with this thing.

      Who says you can’t? I am not “given” anything. I help bring value and spread the word. Big difference. And you could absolutely do the same. Start a channel!

    Poor copy of FAE and Valentini, Italy rules when it comes to this type of mulchers.

    • @JoeTheFarmer

      Well, apparently Canada is legit when it comes to mulchers also because this one is a beast. Bring your Valentini or FAE and lets try them side by side!

    Great video but for $20 grand. Buy another machine and not run your machine to death. Like your videos, keep them coming….

      New machine would cost more then 20k and then you'd still need this

    Have you ever run a tractor while looking backwards??? No thanks!!!!

    • @JoeTheFarmer

      Many many times. Ever run a bush hog? Lots of going backwards. Thats why they have mirrors. 👍🏼

    • @tonyviers-de9qi

      @@JoeTheFarmer i guess if you have a good method. I dont have mirrors and i dont brushhog backwards all day. Just a little at a time. I just do not see this as a viable solution to a front mount. Especially for 20k??? I like solutions for sure . Hope this works out well for you
