The main reason why many timeline theories don't make sense is because the Rito only existed from Wind Waker. So they could not exist just after Skyward Sword, unless these Rito are not the same from Wind Waker. On WW they evolved from the Zora while an hypothesis of the TOTK Rito would be an evolution from the Loftwings...
My one problem with what you’re saying is always, in WW, you didn’t explore the whole world. Who’s to say a certain subsection of the Zora didn’t evolve in their environment to become Rito while others just stayed Zora. Like how all animals have different traits and evolve differently based on region?
Your completely correct, the events of WW are confirmed to lead into botw. This means all rito we see in botw and totk are evolved Zora. So any appearance of the rito takes place after windwaker, meaning the distant past in totk is still at the end of the timeline.
@@pyragaflareyeah, this would explain why the zora currently look different to the past zoras. Some Zora evolved into rito, others simply changed but still remained a aquatic race.
One possible theory, and one I'd like to subscribe to, is that the events of Hyrule Warriors allowed the initial three split timelines to converge into one timeline, allowing elements from all three timelines to merge into one. Now, whether or not you subscribe to the idea of Hyrule Warriors being canon in the timeline can reflect on whether you accept this theory or another theory
My favorite and simpliest theory about the timeline is that botw and totk take place hundreds of thousands of years in the future of the other games allowing enough time where all the games could have happened (making them an era of pure myth). Thus unifing the timeline. The era zelda goes back to is the founding of new hyrule after the previous games happen and the zonai decend ( probs after something decimates old hyrule). It feels like the most correct theory as it lends itself to the cyclical nature of the zelda world and gives the series a clean slate since even the devs have been wanting to get away from the timeline for a while due feeling creatively limited.
I've said this. Even though Nintendo will never confirm it, anything found in their games is canon. What do we see all over Hyrule? Ruins and relics of ancient Zelda games, the Forgotten Temple is clearly the Sealed Temple/Temple of Hylia from Skyward Sword. The Wellspring of Power is obviously the Skyview Spring as this has been proven with several videos showing they are 1 for 1 the same location. The Wellspring of Courage is the Earth Spring and is identical except for the missing staircase. The ruins of the Temple of Time from Ocarina of time and they are surrounded by what looks to be a former town with the placement of them including the central fountain being exactly where they were in OoT. The Ranch Ruins is the Lon Lon Ranch 100%. The named regions of Eldin, Faron and Lanaryu were largely prominent in Twilight Princess and no other Zelda game and here they make a return. The Rito are from Wind Waker and the Rock Salt ingredient which references the Ancient Great Sea. This isn't just easter eggs no. It's solid evidence and no one will ever convince me otherwise. The Hyrule we are in is set thousands and thousands of years after the other previous Zelda games and thus I've always theorized that the "Old" Hyrule kingdom was eventually destroyed. Thus when the Zonai descend and find the people of Hyrule with Sonia are the survivors who have been reduced to just natives. Which story wise makes sense but as you stated the devs freed themselves of being limited of timeline consistency. It doesn't matter if they never say it out loud this is the undeniable truth. Everything reset with Breath of the Wild which again confirms to me "Old" Hyrule was destroyed. This also solves the confliction of the Zonai founding Hyrule when Link and Zelda from Skyward Sword were shown to have. I really don't think the Zonai descended between Skyward Sword and Minish Cap events. It causes too many problems. Of course as the name of the series implies that all of these events are just "Legends" and these stories are telling the same one in just different ways, but of course without Nintendo every saying so to confirm we are left to speculate endless theories.
3:54 I lean more towards the theory that all three timelines somehow merged back into one unified timeline. Think of it similarly to the Xenoblade Chronicles series where the worlds of 1 and 2 merge into one new reality leading to the world of Xenoblade 3. By this logic, I think it’s safe to assume that the Ganondorf we see in TotK is a new reincarnation.
It could be possible, in theory, that the four beasts were destroyed too because they're basically tombs. The champions that piloted them died in them and to set their spirits free to pass on, the beasts were destroyed and either buried somewhere far away or made into ashes and given to each of their tribesmen.
I think this game is just so far in the future, that previous iterations of Zelda, Ganon, and Link have fallen way out of myth and memory-even the kingdom of Hyrule. The current game is just a cyclical repetition of history. Rauru says he “founded” Hyrule, but perhaps he took that name from a legend that existed among the Hylian people of that era
Back when the gameplay trailer came out in February I was playing Skyward Sword and noticed at least a passing resemblance between the ancient robots there and the constructs in the sky islands. As the robots were ancient in SS, my theory is that the time Zelda goes back to is even BEFORE Skyward Sword. As the people in the sky islands in that game had ancestors living on the surface it isn't too far off.
It says in skyward sword that Link and Zelda discovered the surface not that they were the first king and queen but I would love to know where was the Link of their time since they had Queen Sonia for Zelda
I have a wild theory that the lomei tribe could be the ancestors of link. Which could imply that they are infact a warrior and more nomadic cast of the zonai. Which would lead to links blood connections to the ancient hero of the first calamity. It also would explain the more animalistic appearance of the ancient hero, because the lomei tribe are the closest things to dragons without draconficacion
The Japanese text says that they are extinct completely save Rauru and Mineru. This actually leads me into a theory concerning the ancient hero. Nintendo cited the elder scrolls as a inspiration for totk. In the elder scrolls there is an extinct advanced race called the Dwemer however, in Morrowind you can find a lone Dwemer in hiding and he is the last of his race. I think this is the case for the ancient hero, he’s the true last zonai who’s in hiding but rises to the occasion as the hero in the 10,000 year old calamity. Him being hidden away could also explain no hero rising to face gannondorf in the distant past.
@@mrbiscuits001 ya and we know they aren't the last 2, at the time they may be, and they are surely the last 2 PURE Zonai, but Sonia even remarks about her, Rauru, and Zelda's "blood connection". The ancient hero is 100 their descendant, and Zelda's ancestor. But wth is his story? What was his time like?
@@r3gret2079 he can’t be a descendant of Rauru and Mineru. In fact I’d go as far to say he’s not even a hybrid. He’s barely has any human features at all, he’s like canine human just as Rauru is a goat human and Mineru is a rabbit human. The tail is his most unique feature that isn’t seen in any character. He is 100% a pure blood. Now with it being stated that the zonai are extinct save Rauru and Mineru this means he was either resurrected, he was in spirit form, the hero was simply wearing his aspect or as I theorise in hiding. It’s very clear that Nintendo are trying to show us he’s a zonai.
@@r3gret2079 another possible explanation is that the Hero’s aspect works similarly to the MM masks, and that the aspect contains the memories of all the races. But I think with his very high quality zonai clothes, him being a Zonai is more likely.
~[Slight Name and Story Spoilers for TOTK]~ Honestly, for timeline shenanigans, I appreciate those who have it as a “This would happen anyways, given time” for all of the branches. So, since things are how they are, I personally think that Hyrule would need completely rebuilt after the ending of all three branches for whatever reason and then the Zonai were a thing and TOTK’s past happened. Personally, I think Sonia just happens to still be a descendant from the OG Zelda from SS. Not intentionally but still, the bloodline continued on in the royal family. So, here’s how it would go in my theory for it, I honestly just want to share it for anyone who might want a new view on it: 1) The Regular Zelda Timeline from the Hyrule Historia (including any changes made by Nintendo) 2) At the end of the branches, Hyrule Rebuilds under Rauru and Sonia 3) Second Imprisoning War, Ganondorf is sealed 4) Divine Beasts are made to combat Calamity Ganon 5) Calamity Ganon comes (may have had to use the Shrine of Resurrection for someone) 6) Divine Beasts are too powerful (possibly had the same issues as in BOTW) so they’re buried. 7) 100 years before BOTW, Calamity Ganon awakens and is sealed in Hyrule castle. 8) Breath of the Wild 9) Tears of the Kingdom Again, I’m not 100% sure, but I think this explains a lot of it. Still, this isn’t fact and just my viewpoint on the matter so please theorize whatever you like about the placement of TOTK in the timeline
A bunch of people noticed that there were design connections with the zonai and the fused shadow, in twilight princess, it says that spirits of light descended from the heavens and banished the twili, it also says zonai decsended from the sky and are spirits of light, so i think it was actually THE ZONAI who banished the twili in the first place and sealed there magic in the fused shadow, you may also think what about the actual spirits of light on twilight princess? The light spirits were animals, which i think are actually zonai spirits, which wouldn’t be the first time we have seen zonai spirits in animal form, rauru, or kaebora gaebora, the owl is an animal in ocarina of time, which its also funny that the zonai were probably based off the owl in the first place(see the owls ears)
Here's an interesting one: In one side quest, it's revealed that the 8th heroine of the Gerudo was actually a voe. What if he was the Ancient Hero? What if the Ancient Hero was a Zonai/Gerudo hybrid? He does have some Gerudo traits, like red hair...
I could totally see this! The first battle that seals Demise, the male born to the gerudo being link and so Demise curses the gerudo in his last battle cursing links descendants to be incarnated as ganon (aka Demise) so Hylia in turn allowed the spirit of the hero to be reborn as a hylian the race they were trying to protect in the first war annnnnd that brings us to sky loft after she raises the islands before she reincarnates herself into Zelda giving up her mortality…. Damn you think Hylia was in love with the original link the zonia gerudo hybrid 😂 keeping her love together forever indeed
@@LittleAl016 until we get a DLC we won’t know for sure but! We do know that minaru and rauru were the last zonia around during the time when zelda was in the past it says that. So if the ancient hero was at least part zonia then it would have had to be before Ganondorf (unless there were already some hybrids but if a garudo male is born only every 100 years it is possible that it’s the ancient hero although I still think that each Ganondorf game we see is not actually ganon but his projection while he is still in the depths from the beginning it explains why each time ganon comes about in the timeline he becomes more powerful and more beast like) and we know next to nothing canonically about the very first battle between Hylia and demise apart from skyward sword we just need more info first.
theory about hyrule being founded: have we seen the zonai in any previous games? NO. that suggests to me that an apocalyptic event took place that wiped hyrule of any previous progress apart from legends. after this, the zonai, whatever they are, helped rebuild hyrule. so this all happens AFTER any previous timeline
My theory is that much like how zelda drafonofied to conceal and protect the master sword, dinraal naydra and farosh hold the pieces of the triforce and thats why the act is forbidden. The ancient zonai protected the triforce by sacrificing themselves in the forms of dragons.
9:10 Neither Link nor Zelda are constantly reborn. The first Zelda is the reincarnation of Hylia, her descendants aren't her. Link isn't the same person outside of direct sequels, they are chosen heroes some of which have no relation to each other at all besides having the spirit of the hero. That's spirit as in sharing the definitive qualities of their character, not their literal spirit as in soul. In fact of the three main characters the only one that is ever reincarnated or resurrected (there IS a difference) is actually Ganondorf.
I do think the timelines converging makes the most sense, however i want to add to it. You know how after wind waker, a new hyrule was founded? Thats what i think happened in totk. This is a third hyrule, so its founding lines up with the rest of the story. If this were the founding of the original hyrule, then the king would have known about ganondorf’s plan in oot. Totk may happen so much later that people have forgotten about ganondorf.
In case they make a 3rd game, the Demise escaping the sword would be a good one, or they can bring another sorcerer such as Vaati or that one "non-canon" from Hyrule Warriors aiming to resurrect the Demon King... It would be a good plot, but what else they will offer is a mystery regarding Hyrule Map or else... Also, if these games are indeed after the known timeline, couldn't be the Zonai an evolution from the TP Oocas? LOL
Demise is dead completely. His very essence decayed completely inside the master sword. Demise was very intelligent and knew his time was over completely which is the whole reason he cast the curse.
@@mrbiscuits001 canon in its own timeline is still canon. It's considered a part of the overall Zelda lore. I'm only stating that non-canon isn't the correct term this. Further, the general events leading up to the point of the timeline split did actually happen, meaning Astor is considered an in-canon character even in the unaltered timeline. It was only the end outcome that changed due to the involvement of the future champions and Zelda unlocking her power sooner.
The tri-force can also be seen in this game on Zelda’s hand as you’re getting the master sword. If you look where the glowing light is coming from, she has them on her hand
The triforce is 100% fully within Zelda, for me borderlining on not even a theory because why else would it appear on her hand with all 3 shards glowing brightly
. . . . . . Plus let's not forget about how Link, King Rauru, and Queen Sonia all managed to get Zelda human again. She had to have the entire Triforce within her for her to become human again. And as far as we know, the Triforce is the only object in the Zelda franchise that's not only stronger than the Secret Stones, but capable of granting any wish.
Sonia has triforce symbols included in her body paint. Secret stones may not actually be shards of the triforce, being that they only amplify existing powers (rather than granting new ones), but there may be a connection we're missing all the same. As far as anyone knows the door to the sacred realm was never opened and the triforce remains whole and undisturbed. Pity it should be that way; the old mythology presented in Link to the Past intimated that the Imprisoning War was 1) a massive campaign to drive back the Ganon of that history and 2) seal off the sacred realm/dark world for all time to end the countless wars that erupted over the triforce.
The timeline theory was confirmed by the creators. This version of Hyrule is a timeline when all the other timelines somehow collided and fused into one that's why there's references from all timelines. What event caused them to fusion into one timeline has not been revealed yet thou. Of course there are two timelines now because of age of calamity game we're things turned out different for the four champions
my theory is that the three goddesses had secret stones and they swallowed them and became dragons so they can watch over their kingdom forever as the dragons and goddesses name match
There's 1 theory I just came up with the other day. I just discovered this week that in the gleeok den you find statues in each of the 4 corners. Theyre the rito, goron, zora & gerudo statues we find throughout the depths and theyre positioned by where their towns are in Hyrule. I was thinking that this used to be a monument to the civilizations, maybe specifically the sages who helped Rauru. But then Ganondorf seized it to house 1 of his worst monsters, a king gleeok. It's the only gloom gleook in the game
I'm sticking with my theory that the Triforce was used to retcon the whole LoZ timelines into a single one, and as for its disappearance, probably the reason is also its self.
@@traviscooper2205 I meant the physical thing, not the very existence of it. I know the Triforce still exist in BOTW and TOTK as some emblem, symbol or something, but I think the object itself is gone so that it can't grant wishes anymore.
My favorite of the of Zonai that they evolved from the Minish, the small creatures from Manish Cap. Both beings came from the sky and have similar appearances. When Link defeated Vaati, the minish decided to return to the sky which explains why we never seen them in any other Zelda game.
My little theory is that in the parts We didn’t see she got her Ancestral Aunt arranged to convert the Divine beasts into a life preservers and when the the conjunction that happened at the beginning of the game triggered a transformation to a resurrection shrine in hidden
I think most likely is the barbarian theory, but the 2nd option that was mentioned. The shiekah is always split it seems and it would make sense that they were the more "corrupt" offshoot in ancient times
The Faron thing is by far still the most interesting and mysterious mystery. I foget dude's name, but Capti or whatever even says the ruins at Faron "are even older than the Zonai ruins" and structures that we see. So is this "warlike tribe" part of that even older culture, or, like the ancient Hylians, just worshippers of that super ancient race? And who tf were they, if not Zonai? I was so stoked to FINALLY get some answers to the Zonai mystery when TOTK came out, n it gave us fuckin nothing lmao except more questions. We still dunna shit about the Zonai or what they were like and how they lived. We only see 2 of the nerds, and at the time, the LAST 2. Whyyyyyyy?
8:31 It’s very obvious the two games take place in the same timeline as Wind Waker. The depths are old Hyrule from OoT and the new hyrule is land created by the Great Deku Tree when he sent the koroks to spread seeds on the various islands. I’m betting while mining for Zonite, Raru found the master sword in a stone and pulled it out which released Ganondorf.
The idea of DragonBreak, something in eldin ring, is what I think what Nintendo is trying to point at. Basically it’s when the universe’s collide and every single one is the right outcome, making the Tears of The Kingdom History possible.
I think that the era of hyrule a founding takes place 400 years before ocarina of time. In some scenes you can actually see the two to a witches in their youth. In ocarina, they were stated to be 400 years old.
Nah it’s definitely all at the end of the timeline. Nintendo clearly want to move on with the Zelda franchise, leaving the old games in the past. The logo for the game is literally an ouroboros, the eternal cycle of renewal
Hmm as long i can remember Aonuma and Shigeru didnt meant to create Timelines, this were created by fans, wich they used and turned into canon (with modifications in order to have better coherence) because of the popularity/logic they had. But i believe non of them wanted the games to be connected directly, just leaving hints, references and stuff in order for players to feel like they are on a familiar place without needing explations from older games, or the need to play games on a especific order. Thats why BoTW+ToTK exists, they just still create stuff without caring on explaning stuff, because some of them in fact doesnt have explanation. They leave it like that for the players to excercise their minds. Also Time plays an important role on the franchise, so they can do, undo, re build concepts as they want, because the events between 'reincarnations' are to far away from each other... And during those holes plenty things can magically change.
There are plenty of these games that are very clearly connected. Twilight princess, majoras mask and wind waker all have very clear connections to ocarina of time. All of the older 3d Zelda’s are connected for the most part. There are certain games tho where they really didn’t think much about putting into a timeline that they ended up just forcing somewhere such as 4 swords adventures, Zelda 1, minish cap and most of the 2d games
i just realized that every version of ganondorf has a stone on his forehead in the same place the secret stone is in totk. are they implying that every appearance of ganondorf weve seen thus far has been after the events of this game but also somehow before totk?
the barbaric zonai tribe theory is kinda confirmed at tobios hollow chasm as some of it is polished while some of it looking like its beat up and barbaric
The time lines break apart then rejoin together with elements from all of them then totk’s past is at the start of the conjoined timeline then Botw the totk’s present
The time place of this series with Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom is obviously set after "old" Hyrule was destroyed from the previous Zelda games. There is plenty of evidence to support this and no one can convince me otherwise. What do we see all over Hyrule? And you'd think that after excavating sheikah technology and getting corrupted Zelda would have learned not to unearth technology from the distant past
I'm Convinced that Sonia is a Past Life of Zelda, how else was Zelda's Secret stone able to send her back 10,000 Years? Cause the Secret stone that was In Rauru's Hand was Sonia's Stone, and then when Zelda took it, the ground Conveniently Broke from Underneath her, as she was falling the Stone Sent her back 10,000 Years in the Past? Now Mineru stated the Secret Stones only Amplifies the wearer's Powers, which tells me that Zelda Already had that Power even back then But never knew how to Control it, which tells me that she was indeed Sonia in a Past Life which is why the Time Stone sent her back to that era.
@@LittleAl016 To be frank that game is full of inconsistency, and it's not like Tetra was that Zelda's mother... Actually I can't see Tetra calling her daughter Zelda "for the tradition" but I can see Sonia coming back to it. Tetra is just called the feisty pirate captain that arrived on the land's shores, it says nothing that she built a kingdom, and there are no statues of any of the previous Zelda's anywhere...
The Game is awesome, but story wise it left a big let down for me. I was hoping this title to be related to Skyward sword which is the first Game in the time line. I hope we get some DLC content related to other Zelda entries
This is the same series that has Beedle be immortal and in multiple games spanning across centuries. Nintendo never intended to have nor cared for a timeline. They just make up one that doesn’t make much sense to shut up the fans that care about it. 😂
It wouldve been cool it when Gannon broke the master sword in totk it wouldve released demise. I thought that what happened with thr last trailer. What a missed opportunity Nintendo
The Triforce is not missing it has never gone missing if anybody is paid attention to the war and the game it wound up separating itself I'm completely embodied itself within Zelda Link and Ganon they will forever hold a piece of it within their bloodline... And not physically cannot be changed along with the rest of the ridiculous garbage retcons that Zelda has given us the last big retcon was that once the Triforce was broken it was never to be put back together it physically can't either the person that can wield all three touches it and claims all three or it breaks up into three parts that's three respectful people and their kin will continue to hold making each piece holder essentially the ruler of that piece the guardian of that piece if you will the hero will always get the one of Courage as that's the one the hero needs the one that's trying to protect the kingdom will always have the one of wisdom is that's what she needs and the one that wants to destroy will always get the 10 power because that's the one that he needs and an order for a balance to be in the world there has to be all sides... the world was incomplete and had more demise when the Triforce was whole and it was up to one person to try to Wheels all 3 it was broken for a reason
You forgot the one where Zelda became Kaguyas mom and she fought two plot armored Shinobi for the fate of the Hyrule and the Shinibi world 🥷🐰🤣. FREAKIN JOKE OF A GAME!!! STORY IS SO BAD!!!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Wouldn’t Zelda going back in time with the master sword (and presumably in possession of the triforce) be the factor that unifies the timelines? It would mean that all previous timelines would have to inevitably have occurred ending with Zelda reawakening from the Dragon of Light after tens of thousands of years.
But the zoeni been around since the first game, which isn't surprising.. but the one thing is hard to understand is why is ganondorf under the castle.. what's the point in that? Of all places you could put him (maybe another away from earth would be better).. and if they was going to put him there, couldn't you have put him in a realm so far away that he couldn't get out
I forget where, but somewhere around the Hyrule Castle Depths has some sort of plaque that says that the castle was built there to keep Ganondorf's "prison" undisturbed.
When are people going to give up on the timeline nonsense? Nintendo is just playing with a myth, a legend, and just retell it in just about every game. Obvious direct sequels excluded, of course.
If nintendo didn't want us to theorize they'd have to blame themselves dont set up, introduce new stuff and don't explain if you don't want people to theorize😂
Which of these theories sounds the most logical to you? Are there any you believe that we left off? Share your thoughts in the comments!

3:54 I lean more towards the theory that all three timelines somehow merged back into one unified timeline.
I think it makes much more sense that TotK is a retelling of Ocarina - down to Gannondorf swearing fake allegiance to the king
~[Slight Name and Story Spoilers for TOTK]~
Honestly, for timeline shenanigans, I appreciate those who have it as a “This would happen anyways, given time” for all of the branches.
So, here’s how it would go in my theory for it, I honestly just want to share it for anyone who might want a new view on it:
1) The Regular Zelda Timeline from the Hyrule Historia (including any changes made by Nintendo)
2) At the end of the branches, Hyrule Rebuilds under Rauru and Sonia
3) Second Imprisoning War, Ganondorf is sealed
4) Divine Beasts are made to combat Calamity Ganon
5) Calamity Ganon comes (may have had to use the Shrine of Resurrection for someone)
6) Divine Beasts are too powerful (possibly had the same issues as in BOTW) so they’re buried.
7) 100 years before BOTW, Calamity Ganon awakens and is sealed in Hyrule castle.
8) Breath of the Wild
9) Tears of the Kingdom
Again, I’m not 100% sure, but I think this explains a lot of it.
Here's an interesting one:
In one side quest, it's revealed that the 8th heroine of the Gerudo was actually a voe.
Damn you think Hylia was in love with the original link the zonia gerudo hybrid 😂 keeping her love together forever indeed
ganon was a male born to the gerudo as well
@@jedidiahboyer2622The Ancient Hero is after TotK Ganondorf was born. And TotK's ancient past is 100% after what we know as The Zelda Timeline.
@@jedidiahboyer2622 You don't need DLC to figure out that both The Ancient Hero and Calamity Ganon are after TotK Ganondorf.
theory about hyrule being founded: have we seen the zonai in any previous games? NO. that suggests to me that an apocalyptic event took place that wiped hyrule of any previous progress apart from legends. after this, the zonai, whatever they are, helped rebuild hyrule. so this all happens AFTER any previous timeline
11:35 Woah! And here I theorized that the dragons would act as the next trial of the sword-esque things in the DLC!
😊😊😊😊😊😊
LOL
Demise is dead....
Age of Calamity is canon.
Demise is dead completely. His very essence decayed completely inside the master sword. Demise was very intelligent and knew his time was over completely which is the whole reason he cast the curse.
@@NexusNineit’s cannon in it’s own timeline. The events of AoC never happened in totk’s universe. It’s a “what if” scenario.

@@Thornbloom Sonia's body paint Triforce symbols aren't really the same thing as the having the actual artifact within your body.
Well, you get the cap of twilight from defeating the gloom gleok, maybe this is how the twilight link died? In the depths to a king gleok?
@@Exploding_Bagelsthe depths never existed in twilight princess
I'm sticking with my theory that the Triforce was used to retcon the whole LoZ timelines into a single one, and as for its disappearance, probably the reason is also its self.
Never really disappeared if you think about it. Skyward Sword had a red color scheme. BOTW blue, and this one green. It's hidden in plain sight.
In the memory, “Zelda’s Wish”, you can barely see the triangle symbol on her hand
"The Legend of Zonai - Tails of the Ancient Hero." is the game that should come next. They could explain there, why there is a Twilight realm.
The idea of DragonBreak, something in eldin ring, is what I think what Nintendo is trying to point at. Basically it’s when the universe’s collide and every single one is the right outcome, making the Tears of The Kingdom History possible.
Hyrule warriors legends is what unified the timeline
This should get deleted for that loud ass sound effect towards the spoiler warning.
the barbaric zonai tribe theory is kinda confirmed at tobios hollow chasm as some of it is polished while some of it looking like its beat up and barbaric
I'm still pretty convinced that the era of Hyrule's founding is the era of Ocarina of Time.
The time lines break apart then rejoin together with elements from all of them then totk’s past is at the start of the conjoined timeline then Botw the totk’s present
My theory about the dragons is that after din, faror, and naydra, made hyrule and the triforce they became the dragons to watch over their creation
If the zonai broke the triforce, how would the other games take place?
The time place of this series with Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom is obviously set after "old" Hyrule was destroyed from the previous Zelda games. There is plenty of evidence to support this and no one can convince me otherwise.
What do we see all over Hyrule?
And you'd think that after excavating sheikah technology and getting corrupted Zelda would have learned not to unearth technology from the distant past
This is a new timeline, the timeline where the Hero fails to save the princess and lives to tell the tale.
Plus to bolster my theory Maybe Rauru had sent his heir way to prepare for the future after him
The Calamity brought the timeline together
For me Queen Sonia has to be a descendent of Tetra, and this is the story of the founding of the new hyrule kingdom
No. Otherwise we would have heard mention of Sonia in Spirit Tracks.
@@LittleAl016 To be frank that game is full of inconsistency, and it's not like Tetra was that Zelda's mother... Actually I can't see Tetra calling her daughter Zelda "for the tradition" but I can see Sonia coming back to it. Tetra is just called the feisty pirate captain that arrived on the land's shores, it says nothing that she built a kingdom, and there are no statues of any of the previous Zelda's anywhere...
since barbarians are no more wonder if they part of the dragon race...that or hylians arent the only ones capable of becoming a dragon
Wow, walked into the room with this video and spoiled the dragon origin for myself. Lol
w zelda game
The Game is awesome, but story wise it left a big let down for me. I was hoping this title to be related to Skyward sword which is the first Game in the time line. I hope we get some DLC content related to other Zelda entries
Frankly i feel this duology is his own universe and not connected
Maybe dinraal naydra farosh secret stones were the pieces of the triforce.
If you google search Queen Sonia it states she IS Skyward Sword Zelda's daughter so...
This is the same series that has Beedle be immortal and in multiple games spanning across centuries. Nintendo never intended to have nor cared for a timeline. They just make up one that doesn’t make much sense to shut up the fans that care about it. 😂
Hm, how very interesting, i wonder if we’ll ever get anything concrete with this?
It wouldve been cool it when Gannon broke the master sword in totk it wouldve released demise. I thought that what happened with thr last trailer. What a missed opportunity Nintendo
MOJOWORLD FROM MARVEL FLASHBACKS
BOTW, and TOTK are retellings of LOZ 1986. Or at the very least, the end of the downfall timeline
I actualy have a different theary on the triforce how it was made and possibly were it might be.
For no one listen to the post credit for botw that could explain one of these theories
Wow
You forgot the one where Zelda became Kaguyas mom and she fought two plot armored Shinobi for the fate of the Hyrule and the Shinibi world 🥷🐰🤣.
FREAKIN JOKE OF A GAME!!! STORY IS SO BAD!!!! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
What about another theory that came true: the Romantic relationship between Link and Zelda
Wouldn’t Zelda going back in time with the master sword (and presumably in possession of the triforce) be the factor that unifies the timelines? It would mean that all previous timelines would have to inevitably have occurred ending with Zelda reawakening from the Dragon of Light after tens of thousands of years.
Not necessarily.
Get over it people its just a game
Never 😂 its fun to theorize
Also nintendo did release a timeline book
@@Valihir which they have subsequently abandoned.
