Glad you enjoyed it, thanks so much for watching. We’re not from there so don’t have all of the details, but yes they do have public transportation. Hope that helps ya! 🙂
I absolutely love downtown Boise and more particularly, the Greenbelt that runs along the river and Ann Morrison Park. Thank you for posting this. I am using it to help manifest a move there!
Boise is a beautiful city that compared to other cities in the U.S. is very clean and safe. With that being said over the course of the last three years the city and Treasure Valley has experienced massive growth due to people relocating from out of state, with the growth housing has become nearly unaffordable for locals, homelessness has increased, along with crime creating some resentment toward those who are from out of state especially from California.
Boise is my hometown and where I was born! But I grew up in Korea. Even though I visit boise once in few years, I still miss it soooo much!! This video helped me and made me happy thank you!!
I walked all over the downtown area and it was the ONLY downtown that I have seen with no homeless! (that I saw) This stuck out to me as well. Idaho in general is a sparsely populated state, I'm thinking this has something to do with it.
10 years ago one would have been able to say Boise had 0 homeless, but since the beginning of the pandemic the number has drastically increased, due to loss of jobs and the ridiculous increased price of housing. Had she traveled north two or three blocks she would have started seeing the small encampments of the homeless. Boise especially the downtown area is very proactive about keeping the homeless out and minimizing crime to provide a safe and clean environment for businesses and families to enjoy.
Boise is a fantastic city but there definitely are homeless downtown nowadays and even more if you walk a couple blocks west but much much less than salt lake city
I’d like to say that the city of Boise is downright beautiful. There’s no trash on the streets there are no homeless people hanging around. I am very seriously contemplating getting out of this crazy state of California that seems to be under the spell of Socialism. Let me assure you that if I were to move to Meridian, I would bring none of California’s politics with me.
Boise is a blue dot in an otherwise very red state. The adjacent suburbs tend to be more conservative. Many conservative Californians who relocate here seem taken aback that Idaho's capital city is not a red state Mecca.
BTW, metro Boise population is 850,000. You should go downtown at night, it's very busy and alive, especially 8th St Restaurant Row and Old Boise near the Basque Center.
I live with my mom in bay area after a Chinese guy assaulted me in Oregon where I was, now I'm happy that I'm going to have best alternative moving forward 🎉
i love Boise. Great people, coffee shops, clean streets, safe neighborhoods.... but the average working class fella can't afford these nice places. fort collins, colorado, missoula, kalispel, Denver. colorado springs, boulder, colo are all unaffordable to even rent an apartment.. I love all these towns, but you have to make a good living to enjoy these places.. Sad, the middle class has been destroyed in this country!1
Just an interesting aside; the Capitol, state office buildings and the university buildings, as are many homes in the East End of Boise, are heated by geothermal hot water from under ground.
That's really not true. You just didn't see them. The downtown walk is really misleading (no fault of the videomakers). The bad parts are hidden better than most places. I lived there for 35+ years. It has its good points but it's no paradise.
There is a many miles long Green Belt along the Boise river, which runs through the middle of the city nr downtown, and it passes through several nice parks. A wonderful place to stroll or bike.
Dont move to Idaho. It is awful here. There are wolves and bears in the woods. People here, !gasp!, believe in God. The winters are cold. They believe in law and order! CHAOS I'm telling you. Dont move here.
Yes, we definitely saw some. We were there just for a few days and recorded this one Sunday afternoon. Wasn’t too much happening in the area. Thank you for watching!

We're sorry to hear that was your experience. The doors are open and anyone can walk in and explore. When we visited there were no homeless around, just a few others like us experiencing the beauty of the building. It was very peaceful!
Boise isn’t ‘dead’ like Seattle; and Portland; and many large; and mid sized cities in California! At least it’s not littered with trash; and homelessness; and homeless tent encampments throughout the city!

You are very welcome! Glad we could be a part of your manifestation, Boise is wonderful. Good Luck with a potential move. Thanks for watching!

I enjoyed watching this video. I am a Kenyan and I hope to visit Boise, ID one day.
Hello, Boise is beautiful, but we would love to visit Kenya some day!
@@theitwinerary You are welcome with open arms.
@@theitwinerary I am looking for a host in Boise.
I fell in love of this spotless and impeccably organized city
Boise looks to be like a heaven on earth...
Compared to most American cities it is!
As long as the colored people don’t show up right?
Its a beautiful city in a beautiful state! My state. My favorite city!!!
Very nice walk, downtown Boise looks really beautiful. :)
Thank you for watching, I was very impressed with the city!
Exceptional video! You have a beautiful city!

Such a lovely place! I wish someday I could go there
Beautiful city indeed! I really like the Grove area…Boise has a great music scene and nightlife abounds!
Thank you for everything about boise . I wish to travel to Idaho soon
It looks quite a nice clean place! very cool.
I fell in love with this city at first sight.
Right?! It’s so nice! Thanks for watching.
I’m from LA it’s crazy to see 0 homeless people, looks like a very clean city
There’s no beach tho, if LA fixes its homeless issue It’d be paradise

Great, now go home

Great video. I'm moving there in June of 24. from Cleveland Ohio.
Very cool, relocating is always exciting. Good Luck!
From nyc I agree its beautiful
Nice tour As someone who is frightened of cities this is interesting.
I'm from FL; I do love it here, but I want to move out west and try out Boise someday. Last year both states were the fastest growing in the nation.
Interesting, I didn't know that fact! Good luck on any move you decide to make, and thanks for watching!
Very interesting. The city is beautiful, but odd that there aren’t that many people around the streets or sidewalks considering how big it is.

I was homeless out there for a while. Lol

Boise is the most democratic city in the state 😂. You'll probably cry after you see we have lgtbq flags

Great place. No slums or ghettos. An ideal place.
It was a great place. Thank you for watching!

How can I travel to the USA to live there 🥺
I wish I could go to Boise Idaho.
I hope you get the chance someday!
How about walks in the parks?
We love park walks. We have a few on our channel, not in Boise though. We were only there one day.
There is a many miles long Green Belt along the Boise river, which runs through the middle of the city nr downtown, and it passes through several nice parks. A wonderful place to stroll or bike.
I wanna live here. Fresno might be the option too. Anyway, God willing
Thank you for watching! Agreed, Fresno would be nice :)
I do not see any homeless camping out on the sidewalks.
Africa to Idaho❤🇧🇮
😊How do you like living in Idaho?
boise should applay 4 a nhl expansion team
Please try to pronounce the name correctly. It is pronounced boy see not boy Zee.
It’s actually pronounced BoYsEe.

There are homeless people in Boise, they just live down by the river, tons of trash going into the river, thanks to them.

We need some homeless to decorate the streets!

Looks white
Pretty much, not very diverse with the exception of boise state and mountain home AFB.
Crazy that people actually comment stuff like this. Imagine watching a video tour of Mexico City and saying "Looks brown". Hits a little different

Just enjoy the video 🤡

Anyone can walk into the Capitol building and wander around. We walked in and there were bums in there.

Highly doubt that
why are you talking so gay?
That's my voice and I like it! Thanks for watching
It’s dead!
We’re hoping to get back there on a different day and see if that changes. Thanks so much for watching!

I went today and it was absolutely popping off! Like I've never seen that many people walking in a US City of this size
