Man al Petteway is one of my favorite guitarists ever. I’m learning finger style picking after years of playing metal rock and punk, and cumbias and corridos. What an amazing musician he is. I bought his dvd and my dream is to be able to play like him some day.
Great lesson, thanks Al and Paul. I’ve been experimenting with this tuning for a couple of months thanks to a weekend with Martin Simpson. One to return to often.
Thank you for that lesson, Al. You have such a relaxed demeanor here, like a friend chatting with a friend. Now I need to go retune my Caton guitar and explore this!
Al, thanks for the great lesson as a new year's present. This tuning looks fun and inspiring. PS: I love that little inverted bevel for extra space under the cut-away on your Tippin guitar. Thanks, John WA, USA

I hear him say it is an Al Petteway endorsed guitar and it sounds absolutely amazing. What luthier made that guitar?
Tippin
