I remembered when I played this game, my mate and I would find herds of elk and kill them one by one. the map was filled with carcasses! There was this time where we killed three herds of elk in The Burn. It was awesome!
Shadow Gaming ya. At first it was hard but then you kinda get the hang of it. Basically, just kill the rest of the herd so when your health depletes you can just heal pretty quickly by eating nearby carcasses
You need to press Z to be able to have the option to switch from day to dusk, dawn and night. I suggest night. It creates an amazing atmosphere and I advise you to listen closely for any high pitched howling and yipping in the background. Just a tip. :)

Here's a tip: if there are a lot of elk carcasses around a herd, then you can go for the bull. When you're about to die, get your health back up to 100, attack and repeat
Hunting Elk is 100 Fighting Wolves is 50 Killing Coyotes is 25 Killing hares/bunnies is 10 Chasing off Cougars,Grizzly Bears and Wolves from your den is 200 :)
Seri! Pixel Biologist! I went to Yellowstone once for the very first time and I heard a male wolf howl it was a very very very deep howl. I also got to see a cougar on the rocks by the river but we stayed away so it wouldn't see us and attack us. We also thought it could have been a coyote, or a wolf, or a stray German Shepherd but it would most likely be a cougar. I don't know but Yellowstone was so beautiful!! I loved it. It was so much fun.
Seri your amazing!!!! I think people should just leave the animals in their habitats. Unless it is an evasive species like zebra mussels who were brought into the habitat.
Legacy of the Packs; episode 4: Becoming the Dominant Wolf! It was sunny outside and Eclipse was just headed back from his very first wolf encounter-which didn't go so well- and was off to the Soda Butte Vista to try again.... ....and this time, there was no mr.nice wolf... On his way there, Eclipse noticed an elk caracas, and with it a hare crawling out of the bushes that he killed, along with a coyote who tried to steal the hare caracas while Eclipse wasn't looking. Eclipse took a stop at Douglas Fir Forest for a quick snack. At this point, Eclipse was getting good at hunting elk, so he already knew what to do... "What if-..." , wondered Eclipse as he drew nearer to the big Bull Elk, but a slick jab to the black wolf's stomach from the antler's of the big Bull Elk left Eclipse running away with his tail between his legs! Eclipse decided a simple cow elk will do... It started raining as Eclipse feasted on the elk he took down. Eclipse decided to take a visit to the Soda Butte Vista for the first time, in attempt to become the "Dominant Wolf!" Imediantly upon entering the Vista, Eclipse caught a scent leading him to a Druid Male! "Who sre you looking at?", boomed the make wolf. "I wanna be boss!" Eclipse snarled and snapped at the wolf's paws."I'm boss, back off!" And the wolf clamped on Eclipse's leg. The two wolves wrestled on the mountain, both refusing to back down! The fight was furious, the male wolf wasn't giving up, and it seemed like Eclipse wouldn't survive! Taking one last bite to the neck of the other wolf, he bowed his head in defeat. "I give in!", whimpered the wolf. "Leave now!", boomed Eclipse, and the wolf ran off as fast as he could! Eclipse had barely survived his first fight with another wolf, but he did, and that's all that matters! Eclipse sniffed out a caracas for him to regain the health he lost. But while he was eating... I had a pack and I kill the cow elks then when I have alot of cow elks I go in for the bull elk and then when the second hit of the bull elk I eat the cow the elk and do it over and over till the bull elk is dead

No in Wolfquest my very strong wolf Dawn(she has over 100,000 experience:) She killed an elk with out taking damage and once she killed and elk with 1 hit!

you know in a pack wolves will hold there tails higher if there a higher rank to show there rank and you see that here when they win a fight they hold themselves high and low and roll over when beaten works similar with dogs in some ways

Actually the coyotes do have that kind of thinking and they do have a concept of time that might even be better than ours.
Quick fact: it hurts you but if you chase away grizzlies by biting them a lot you can get food if they are eating and also it gives you experience

A way you can change the time of day is to click the sleep button twice and it will give you four options, dawn, dusk, day, night
