The sound you heard while exploring the bever dam was infact a bever. They slap the water with their tail's when danger is near. They do it to alert other bevers. Unfortunatly, in lost river they just make the sound, no bevers. :(
I'm trying to justify the actions of Eclipse. Why on Earth would a wolf explore into human territory? Mostly they try to avoid it. I'm trying to think, Eclipse grew up in Yellowstone. He only had bears as a major predator. Now that he has new scents of humans he thinks, "Oh, I kill Elk, Coyotes, what could this new scent do to me?" or in a nutshell, he believes that humans pose no threat, where they never have in the past. So now, he believes it's "okay" to wonder into town, and honestly I want to see him wonder into town! :D I just try to make it seem more "realistic" as to his reasons of doing so.
Since you changed this wolf so much from Eclipse it kinda looks more like one off his pups especially since Twilight had a bit of red/brown on her. This is very pretty map tho and a very fun episode ^w^
You have to play on this map with one of the pups and you should give him scars and maybe a cardio collar and say he was looking for food and wondered into another wolf packs territory and got into a fight but then some humans found him put the collar on him and moved him here so he wouldn't be killed by the other wolfs. Love wolf quest I'm getting for my new computer I can't wait :D
That same elk herd you are in, the first time i played LR i got a mate then destroyed the entire herd, only three got away and i couldn't find them, but there were uneaten corpses everywhere xD
I came to revisit this series and watch the episodes and it looks like Allison Acres and the water use to connect through what looks like a canal in the hunting grounds in Downtown but then the beavers made a dam and stopped the water flow leaving the canal dried up and Allison Acres flooded

Limpy gives you +10 strength, but also -10 speed. Just make speed 40, Stamina 30, and strength around 70+. That will even it out a bit, but also make you really tough.
Wow, I'm just looking at how big Eclipse is compared to one of the possible Misty Woods Pack heirs XD, Sylvi (short for Sylvilagus :3) is soooo tiny next to the elk when I did an experiment hunt with her (on the super weak elk that normally appears when you start on Amethyst Mountain) :3 I really like Sylvi, but Hurricane still has to have his third litter before I choose an heir!
Lost River is certainly...interesting. There are so many easter eggs in that map, so many things to explore and theorize about! Most people involved with WQ one way or another have easter eggs related to them in Lost River, either having entire subdivisions named after them, having their own buildings...etc. Oh, and that sound you heard when you entered the elk territory were elk bugles. I think it goes really well with the new LR music. :)

Last litters story: My name is Nightlight, and i grew up with an over protective dad, who i hated, and my caring mom. My mom and dad had just gotten home to feed us. "Guess what kids!" said my dad. "We are going on a family trip!" "Why?" asked my only sister, Celestial. "Umm.. you'll know when we get there!" He said. Then we all howled. But then suddenly, a rival wolf came and killed Celestial. My mom and dad had put me to safety at the time. "NO!" growled my dad. My mom calmed him down. Empty hearted, me and my two other brothers, Solar and Atlas, followed our parents to a river. Dad picked Solar up and Brought him to the other side. My mom took Atlas over, too. I sat waiting for them to get back. I saw a Coyote and Dad yanked me to the other side. I couldn't breath for what felt like days. It was VERY cold. Suddenly I could breath again, and i could feel my dads warm fur. I realised how hungry i was. I couldn't feel my dad anymore. I opened my eyes to see Atlas and Solar playing and i was lying on the ground. I saw my dad following a juicy elk. Mom was beside him. I watched my brothers play until i saw a Coyote behind Solar. I said, "MOM, DAD!!!!!!!" I had been so startled. But too late. By the time my parent got back, Solar had been ate by the Coyote. "Where's S-Solar?" asked dad with a shaky voice. "He..He.." I said. "Coyote.." said Atlas. "No.." Said dad. "Not Solar too!" But we carried on, soon, we reached trees. I was starving. Our dad led us to a slope. He let us take a break. "We are finally here.." Dad said as he gave us food. "W-Why?" asked Atlas. He sounded like Celestial, which made me cry. "Because we had to." replied dad, as mom came back. We howled in celebration.
After the pups left: Eclipse and Twilight started getting into fights. One day, they broke up. Eclipse traveled to the lost river. Little while later, Eclipse was looking for a new mate. If Eclipse finds Twilight again. Eclipse finds a wolf that kinda looks like Twilight, and that made him miss her. "Hello there!" He says. "Eclipse..?" He realises, this WAS Twilight! "Im so sorry!" She says. "Me too." And they love each other again

I hope you get that the game isn't even fully complete. It's still only at half. In episodes 3 and 4, we will see the "previous generations" power through the rest of real-life wolf life. So, yes. That IS how it works in the game... But it's likely to take a couple more years.

Quick suggestion: walking regains stamina, so you don't have to stop fully in a middle of an elk hunt!
