- It's a popular question from you guys; if I could only keep one of my current cars, which one would it be and why? Well the answer is the Ferrari FF and I've popped to RossoCorsa in Milan to drive it back to back with the new GTC4Lusso to explain why.
There are other luxury GT cars, there are other sports cars, there are plenty of different brands; but none bring together the whole iconic package of a Ferrari, combined with the finish and comfort while still retaining the sporty driving characteristics that make the FF so wonderful.
Of course the GTC4Lusso is the newer model, many things are upgraded and updated to make it even better and I would very much like to see one in the garage down the line.

The FF looks gorgeous and stunning next to the GTC4 Lusso. Same with the F12, I'm not a fan of the looks of the 812 Superfast.

The Quarttroporte doesn't look nearly as good as and doesn't go nearly as fast as neither of these Ferraris, and the Ghibli is a cheap massive joke-6-cylinder-turbo with literally the same parts from Dodge and Chrysler. And you'd know none of these could stand a chance if you actually listened through 10:08 to 10:32

Ive been struggling to swap my FF for F12, and people just can't even fathom that its a predicament for me..
FF is such an underrated car, its just AMAZING in every way possible, such a pleasure to get into every day!

Drove 42,000km on my FF and loved it, bought a GTC4LussoV12 and actually really enjoy it more but it definitely needs an exhaust to bring some more excitement into it!

Thanks Tim. All understandable. I wonder however if, sometimes, people can take 1 step back to take 2 steps forward. I see your point about no other cars, especially exotic brand name cars, doing what those 4 seater Ferraris can do. In wonder, might you however consider one of those other cars - RS6, E63 AMG etc because: 1. they are 4 door cars, and since you said in the video that you value comfort, those cars value the ingress / egress comfort of your rear seat passengers at bit more, and 2. the lower cost of these 4 door cars frees-up a bit of cash that could go (with the sale of the FF) towards a 812 Superfast. You gain both exotic ultra-performance when you want it, or extra high performance GT practicality for 3-4 occupants when you and your friends want it. Congrats on the 1,000,000 subs too!
Just love the sound from your ff so intoxicating. I would miss that if I upgraded
I think the FF looks more wide in the front and just more aggressive overall. That said, the rear end of the Lusso with the quad tail lights (much like the 812 Superfast) and the top rear spoiler look sick! Even the noise from the FF's engine and exhaust blow the Lusso away. To be fair, the Lusso's interior is where it shines over the FF. It's more up to date and seems more driver focused. But at the same time, the passenger feel more involved with their own digital display and the ability to change settings, etc. If you've got that new car fever, I would just do to a different color "wrap" on the car and possibly change the two tail lights to looks more like the Lusso's quad ones.

I had my heart set on a 570S but I have a "bad" habit of daily driving my fun cars even when I have a brand new GLC at home that never gets driven and the FF is, like you said, a perfect all around car :) keep up the great content!
I expresed my love of the FF many times,i even messaged you on IG about never selling it! I just hope your Lusso will have a gorgeous spec and that you keep it long enough so I can be in the position of buying that V12 monster from you😉

Oh man....that Lusso. The car which i would buy if i could. The perfect supercar for everyday drive. Enough room for family, groceries etc. Plus that 4wd on winter. Ferrari is the one for me, most definitely.

I agree with you! The GTC4Lusso is the choice for who search a fast four seats supercar ,the engine is quite powerful and makes good noise especially if you disconnect the valves of the exhaust.So I hope you'll be buying soon. I advice you the "blu pozzi" color is pretty good!!

The more I see the FF in your videos the more a like it, I've seen a couple in person and they have really grown on me, but it makes me want a GTC4. Cause it really seems like the ultimate car but I can't think what else would complete against it on the current market.

Armand Petre the performance sucks compared to for example FF, 911 Turbo S or Panamera - and no 4x4 in the aston martin
RWD, heavy and not as luxurious. And depreciation hits hard on Astons.

Volvo XC90 V8. I know Shmee wouldn't buy one as a replacement, hell I don't think anyone would, but the XC90 is comfortable, spacious, drives nice, and when you punch the gas, the V8 is incredibly loud and puts a smile on your face. My brother test drove one, and I went with him. He put it in the manual mode, dropped a couple gears, and punched it and God the thing is fantastic
The FF is stunning.. also an appreciating asset. With so many great reviews get one while you can..

I agree w you Tim as far as your cars go. Possibly your Astin convertible but in cold weather a hard top is better.

Something like an Aston Martin Rapide might come close to this, but for the most part, you're right - the FF and GTC4Lusso is a completely unique market segment.

Go for the Lusso. Looks just a little different, nicer back end with the quad lights and a more up to date interior. Seems the way you're getting all these Ferrari drives they are determined to get you into a prancing horse!!

Remember the Aston Martín Rapide and Bentley flying spur can be put in that bracket aswell
...without a shadow of a doubt for me .... your Mini Cassic ... why ?
1. it has the Most illustrious motoring history of all your current cars.
2. it has competition racing success (as like a McLaren F1..which you don't own one of Tim)
3. it met and exceeded all it's design briefs/goals (as did the McLaren F1)
4. it's design is cohesive...brilliant would be an even better description.
5. it has good "looks" that have outlived all the other cars you own..and will continue to outlive them (like a Porsche 911...again another car you don't own Tim)
6. it's an Event every time you drive it.
7. it's a car brimming with character and soul.
8. and lastly it is a Bonafide Motoring Icon....period.

Id choose a 2010 Maserati Quattroporte GTS to drive every day, its not as quick as an ff but the drama and how exotic it is as well as the noise the 4.7 V8 makes
Db 11 also can do the same thing with a nice v12 sound and good space
The FF is so beautiful, you don't need anything else.

I agree, the only actual replacement would be the successor, GTC4Lusso, i would usually say a Bentley Continental Supersport/supersport X might be a replacement but then again, no naturally aspirated V12. But thats me being a Boatley Fan.

Plus you can get a 2 year old gran coupe with loads of options for under 50K!!

For the sound and the four doors you have the Maserati ghibli or Quattroporte and the Aston Martin Rapide S but this one can be slightly outdated. You should make more Videos about these new Maserati. They are Very wicked cars.

You should have taken out a Maserati Quattroporte for a test drive while you were there. Since it's pretty much a four-door Ferrari. That would make it vastly more practical than the FF, and still delivering the thrills and sounds you're after.
hi shmee, i am deeply convinced that lamborghini wants also to have something like lusso in their's garage and URUS can be kind of even more expensive lusso and that's answer for your question
