Yesterday i was at a social dance, ive been dancing for a few months now. But i forget everything that i learned once i start dancing... I love the music and it makes me happy to move to it, but i can feel how it gets boring for the girls i dance with as i can only do basic moves. I sometimes loose rythm or moves dont work out. It takes a lot of courage to ask a girl to dance, when you see how good all the other people around you are. Whenever i do something wrong i laugh about it and try to be happy, but i was feeling very discouraged at the end of the night.
It is only natural to go through this step in your evolution. Everybody that is good, at some point, was really bad. Ourselves included. No matter what, keep going. Don't get discouraged. The more you practice the better you get. Do that basic step all night, smile, and keep going. Trust us. Keep doing mistakes, that is how you learn. We are here for you.
love your demonstration ! simple , easy and practical. not like the lecture boring but illustrate simply which i can use directly in party. the explanation makes foreigner understand easily the culture and the tips in a real dance

At 15:12 I laughed and clapped. It was funny and awesome. I know you cant do the pelvic thrust except with someone u know. But I realized something. If you can do something funny or cool on time when music stops for example, it really adds flavor to the dance especially if it makes her laugh.
