That part you feel goosebumps which is "n" sound, that is part of Japanese sounds so she doesn't pause, it is just a Japanese sound! And last 1 minute she sang in Chinese (she doesn't speak Chinese so she practiced it before the show)!!
I wish you could understand the lyrics. For me, the lyrics are the best part along with all the other aspects of this song. Misia’s done an amazing job here. I love this version.

この歌は、中島みゆきのカバー曲だが、MISIAが唄うと、本当にカバー曲なの？と思いました。私も最初この歌を聴いた時、MISIAの持ち歌に、こういう歌があったかな、と思った位でした。知らない人が聴いたら、誰もがMISIAのオリジナルだと思ったでしょうね。それ位、自分の歌として唄ってますね。しかも、終わりの方は、中国語でも唄ってました。本当に凄い！
