i just randomly bought a japanese cd in 2005 if i am not mistaken. i chose misia and i never regrets it ever. used to hear her song in one of the japanese drama but i am an album listener then i judge the singer based on their whole album and not for just only 1 song. very good voice, good control, good vibrato, good key. i very fond of Lunasea, Xjapan. but once in a while misia is never out of my list. always sends the shiver and goosebumps.
@???Q waaa.. thanks my friend for the link and thanks for the info. yes, misia used to sing OST before too. with a good voice like that, who would neglect her. hahaha. thanks again
@???Q i don't refer to this song in the video actually. I bought the album KISS IN THE SKY which released in 2002 if i am not mistaken. And i bought it in 2005. The song EVERYTHING is the first or second song that i heard her. Due to lack of internet access in those days, still in my school days, i just heard her song in the jdrama YAMATO NADESHIKO which nanako matsushima acted in 2000 i think so.. The album that i bought is original but at a discounted price.
@???Q you just makes me want to see that drama soon... Hahahhaa. Maybe when i got my free time. Because good drama will usually makes me want to finish it fast. And that makes skip all of my daily routine. Hahaha.
Misia is borderless lady whose name is composed of her real first name Misa and Asia. She seldom appear on TV even in Japan. People joined her live are very lucky.
MISIA wrote the lyrics to this song. The song is based on the material of a suicide note that young people sent to their families and loved ones by Kamikaze attackers in Kagoshima after the war with America in the Pacific War.
I wish you could have gotten a chance to hear her debut song Everything. I was so bummed out not to see her get a chance to present that song to the world. Thanks for explaining the premise of the show. I had no idea this show showcased established artists. By the way, you have a very easy to listen to voice. (No creeping😅)
For anyone who had watched the Japanese Drama called Jin will hear this kind of song from Misia. She sang this in the year 2009. So anyone who were to listen to this song while watching that drama would also pick up interest of studying history on Edo Period.
I can't tell for the others younger Chinese, but I like Japan quite a lot and would loved to visit there one day. The Japanese done some horrible stuff before, but that's 80 years ago. People should forgive but not forget so people don't cause these again. And if I got to guess, the younger generation probably don't have a negative view of Japanese, since most of the people who hate Japan in China are super nationalist or just had bad relationship with some
@@applepie-sz3kr "People should forgive but not forget so people don't cause these again." Very well said. I wish everyone can get along and be friends! Side story: I am Malaysian of Chinese ethnicity. My grandparents told me stories of how when the Japanese invaded Malaya during WW2, they had to hide in the jungle to run away from the soldiers. They still hold a negative view toward Japan, but I really cannot blame them because the events they lived through during the war was really traumatic. But generally the new generation of Malaysian Chinese have pretty positive views about Japan. I myself studied Japanese. But Daniel is right, the denial of the Japanese government about the atrocities commited can be annoying at times 😅
Almost forgot to mentioned that Misia's ending theme would represent Jin Season 1 while Ken's ending theme would represent Jin Season 2. So only the season 1 singer of Jin comes to Singer 2020 to perform but Ken did not. Both Ken and Misia is considered to be Jpop singers. There songs would be different. I just wish Ken were also part of Singer 2020.
Daniel Ku Xello. . Very much
Some new generations citizens will. But by the politics or the older generations Chinese elders might not be get along. During the WW2 Japanese soldiers only have 3 law loot all, burn all, kill all. But there were still some Japanese people who risked their life to help China during that horrible time. Shirley Yamaguchi was one of them. Her Chinese name was Li Xiang Lan. My grandma said she was a true heroine of China in her heart. And she regretted of how Chinese government treated her so badly. Grandma’s older cousin was raped and killed by Japanese soldiers, she said it’s no use to hate. She rather be friends than enemies. Maybe she can meet a Japanese friend who are as kind and gentle like Lady Yamaguchi. My granny’s one of the most open minded person.
We all need to move forward. Resenting the current generation of Japanese for the crimes their ancestors committed is futile. Hating Germans or American slave owners is futile. Hate is poison. Forgive but never forget. There are real wars going on right now that’s better suited for everyone’s emotions and energy.

Your recognition of history is absolutely wrong. Back then, the number of ppl living in Nanjin was only 200,000. Even before the war, the maximum number of people was 1,000,000. How it possible to kill 200,000,000 out of 200,000. That's absurd. Plus, Mao Zedong never mention the Nanjing Massacre. Not even once. If there really had been that gross massacre, he would have definitely mentioned it many times. Nowadays It's common knowledge all over the world, Chinese government cook the book and distort the history. I've got many Chinese friends here in the States, and almost all of them say the same thing. Chinese government does anything to bind citizens together mentally and economically. It's a kina of brainwashing. However, it's a age of technology. Even the ordinary citizens can get access to the real fact through internet. Chinese government is really trying hard to tighten the regulations against worldwide internet service.

@???Q cool! what is the song called?
@???Q thanks for sharing!
Thanks very much for picking up MISIA's appearing on Chinese music TV program. This must be one of how to get long, for China and Japan.

Superfly
Misia is Japan's first R&B diva. Check out her albums. You'll find many good songs with good vocals.
I first bought her album in 1999....and I own about 10 of her albums.
