The best thing about this batsuit is the paint job. I appreciate how accurately the matte finish looks compared to how McFarlane Toys annoying did a half ass job by giving their figure a glossy plastic finish. Really pissed me off and wanted to get nuts on them. Great job SHF 👍.
Looks so much better than the McFarlane version. I'll be applying a matte finish to my McFarlane figure after seeing this. It just looks so much better than the glossy finish it has. Great figure and review👍 I do actually love the cowl, the design of it. I totally agree, this resembles the Batman Begins suit.
I almost bought this figure. If the head wearing the cowl would have been a little better I would have jumped on it. The eye area just looks weird to me. Especially his left eye. I wish they would do one from Batman Returns.
Great overall figure/ Michael Keaton head sculpt up to a point . this figure had such promise but what kills it like you said there's certain sections of the cowl want stay flush down properly personally I would want my full refund back.
Awww man dang it bro. But I wish that mezco had adopted some of there techniques for 89 Batman figure such as younger version Michael Keaton head sculpt and some type of plastic handles to spread the cape wide open for intimidating scary affect.
SHF went all McDonald's hamburger with him. Is SHF shrinking their figire size even more now? I wouldnt even call this a 1/12 scale figure. Anyway, it looks good with the Keaton head sculpt but the cowl version looks messed up.
I like the flash movie. Especially when they go visit old man Wayne. And Wayne manor is all foggy and gloomy. And Keaton is fixing spaghetti. They play that Chicago tune and he does that karate attackassault across the table. Hysterical. I watched that movie about 10 times a few months ago. It just worked but you're right, the scale is awful 😂❤ I think if you took the head section and put it on a mcfarlane it would be a masterpiece.
Lol I have gone back and mostly just watch all the batman scenes. Love all of the keaton scenes, wish they kept going with this universe and I think it would have been fun to see keaton as a mentor and still have our current Affleck, cavil and gadot.
once again the 89 keaton batman proves that it's near impossible to make this design for batman actually work in both being practical and even in figures, i think the ONLY time this suit actually works is the version that you can give Batman in the Akrham knight Game because that game has him move around in it with zero restrictions, however the very design of the suit impedes movement in both the actual suit prop that was used in when it comes to figures. this used to be one of my favourite suits for batman however as time has gone on i've come to see just how goofy looking and poorly thought out and designed this suit actually is. hell the dark knight movie actually makes fun of how poorly designed this kind of cowl is it just Doesn't work for live action batman. In batman begins they had him with a full cowl but Bale behind the scenes said he hated it and that is why the redesign was reincorporated into the second film. hell the idea of a batman that can't turn his head was always ridiculous and i hate that it's a design choice that somehow still follows the character around and i do like how they made it so that it was simply a design oversight in those films.
Yea you would think after all these years he would have improved his suit so he can turn. I watched a making of video saying keaton wanted the cowl to be restricted so he can continue to do the full body turn instead of just head turns. Is nostalgic but it doesn't really make much sense in real life.
That head sculpt is gorgeous
Yea seriously. Hopefully all their future sculpts are this good

Yea mcfarlane stuff is always mediocre, like never amazing, just enough to get by.
great review as always my friend an awsome figure the headsculpt is a little off but pretty good nice articulation congratz 🎉🦇
Thanks, unfortunately the cowl head is very meh imo. But the keaton head is definitely the saving grace
@@toys210 yea 🤔
just wow, this head sculpt is the best I've ever seen in 1\12 of Michael Keaton. S H Figuarts did a great job
Yea definitely a great looking keaton sculpt.

Yea the shf head sculpt so good, if only I can just scale this head up for other figures. Yea a skinnier version of begins suit hehe
Great review 👏👏 this figure is awesome
Thanks dude. Yea the keaton head sculpt is fantastic

Yea and this fig is tiny too. A batman returns version would be a must for me too
@@toys210 Yes, it's way too small. Weird.
Did you manage to fix the cowl?
Nah I left it as is for now
Theres something about the headscuplt that is remindijg me of Neal McDonough. But i definitely see Keaton in there.
Hehe , hopefully all their future head sculpts are just as good
Great overall figure/ Michael Keaton head sculpt up to a point . this figure had such promise but what kills it like you said there's certain sections of the cowl want stay flush down properly personally I would want my full refund back.
Yea is not for everyone, especially that gap and the mouth section on the cowl. I attempted to remove it but I was unsuccessful

@@austincrafton178 yea shf did a great job on that front. If only I can scale up that keaton head myself for the mezco body.
Exactly that would be amazing.

Yea seriously lol so tiny. They dud the something with that first loki
This is really fantastic figure, just don't like the cape. I need some fake leather type cape.
Yea something thin but still much better than what they gave the 89 batman
@@toys210 yes the execution on this one is overall better than the 1989 version

Well Keaton is at least 10cm shorter than Robert..
Just weird having the two stand next to each other lol

There is only 10 cm difference between Battison and Keaton. So why Keaton figure is so small. I takes all fun.
Lol yea is strange. Once in a while they do this to figs
英语很流利!
你指的是我的英文嗎?
Way too small. Hard Pass
Yea he is definitely tiny
