I don't know anything about baseball, all i know is Bob, Mr. Uecker, is extremely funny, and my dad, who was born in 1929 tried out for the Cincinnati Reds (pitching) but he was to small, they wanted big guys, anyway my dad just loved Bob Uecker, thank you!

Mike Shannon is a institution here in St Louis.
Ueck is priceless. Too bad he wasn't from here and Shannon from Milwaukee all these decades. Can you imagine from back in the day if Ueck worked alongside the legendary Jack Buck all those years? Those two would've had us laughing more than listening to baseball. He's a brilliantly funny man, who happened to play baseball.
I would never trade Mike Shannon for any broadcaster, he is one of a kind.
