    Wow four months and then you moved over. That was really quick.I know some people who took almost as long as a year to get cleared. Thank you for sharing your experience. Are you currently working with your SA company or moved over to a UK one?

    • @shwethasuredin
      @shwethasuredin  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Absolutely, it was super quick for us, from my partner getting his job to our visa approval taking just 4 working days- I am a big believer in divine timing so I guess it was just the right time for us :) I work for a company that is fully remote so I didn't need to change jobs :) You are so welcome, hope it helped you if you are in the process.

      @@shwethasuredin definitely,please send us updates as your insights can help others who are also considering moving.
      Also how has your driving experience in the UK been?

      @@kameesha1807 Sure, I share more frequent shorter videos on my socials (IG/Tiktok/TH-camshorts) but I think breaking this video into bitesized content will also be useful :) Luckily its only a matter of swopping our license here and not redoing a whole test- but to be honest we haven't driven yet- we are really enjoying using the public transport and don't really see a need for a car just yet- also parking is a nightmare!

    I have been watching videos for a long time, but never got all this information. Thank you so much. I do have a few questions though.
    Can I apply for the passport, take the TB test and do the police clearance before actually getting a job? What would you suggest?

    • @shwethasuredin
      @shwethasuredin  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi there! I’m so glad it’s been helpful! So it would really depend if you can come over on any other visa besides the Skilled Worker Visa (SWV) which we came over on ( we don’t have any ancestry in the UK and we weren’t eligible for any other visa.) In the case that the SWV is your only option, you will need to have accepted a job with a recognised sponsor, before starting any process. You would need a sponsor certificate in order to start booking for your tests and your application. In the case you are eligible for any other visa it may be possible to come over without having a job first but best would be to check here> www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa ✨

      Thank you for getting back to me... I am looking to apply for a SWV, my biggest concern is that the employer won't wait say 4 months or more for me...

    Hi, did you need your provide any English language requirements as a dependent?

    • @shwethasuredin
      @shwethasuredin  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there, not as a dependent no :)

  • @iamnotib7047
    @iamnotib7047 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Another question, sorry. Can I renew my visa after 3 years while still in the UK?

    • @shwethasuredin
      @shwethasuredin  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So this is dependent on the type of visa you come over on. If its a SWV, the company that employees you can give you a visa for 3 (with option to renew) or 5 years, after which you can start applying for your indefinite leave to remain.

    Can you apply for a visa with an immediate aunt that stays in the UK. Aunt is a citizen of the UK.

    • @shwethasuredin
      @shwethasuredin  20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi there. Depends on what your stay is for- if it’s for tourism purpose then yes your aunt will need to give you an invite letter to share with the embassy :)

    Skill work visa we want you to have a job first before you apply it

    • @shwethasuredin
      @shwethasuredin  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You would need a company to sponsor you(get a job at a caompany that offers sponsorship) before you can apply for a SWV.
