no doctor worth the paper their degree is printed on would prioritize patients over themselves in a chemical spill. it's like being in a plane crash, you put your OWN oxygen mask on FIRST so you can be conscious to help those around you.
Definitely it takes a while to get though
especially if one of the symptoms is *blindness*
@@tacticallemon7518Right lol smh
I was just thinking that like how tf are you gonna help anyone else if you can’t / won’t help yourself and you need it like her being chemically burned she shoulda been first in bc if she’s down for the count who replaces her in patient care it’s not just like anyone can take over
That‘s all most medical shows are about: drama, with a capital D🤦🏼♀️ More acute drama, more emotions, more heroes, more ratings and views. They don’t care about accuracy. Although it‘s actually not that difficult to reach an upper medium level of medical accuracy. Just don’t shock every single cardiac/trauma patient with a defibrillator, don’t do surgeries with kitchen knives and don’t make such „heroes“ out of doctors. Safety first and there are instructions. If you’re dead, you wont help anyone. But we get, what the audience wants and show makers make money with - adrenaline DRAMA.
Im not sure if im more annoyed by the doctor not putting herself through decontamination immediately in order to properly doctor... or tht she was literally drenched in the corrosive chemical and until her vision going all she had was a little rash on her arm.
my comment has nothing to do with the chemical spill but the fact that the doctor wasnt with her hair tied around someone with an OPEN WOUND
@@gabrielamarques6787 TV doctoring is pretty. ❤️
As a junior doctor, Doctor charles is the best supervisor you can ever dream of. The guy is calm, caring and also keep you in check with your profession and decision.👌🏼
why are all doctors named doctor charles superior (referring to chicago med lol)
no but the first patient omg i feel bad for her
This impaled woman chef's kiss
The blindness is the scariest part how can she help anyone that’s not selfless that’s just stupid. Selfish and stupid sometimes the most selfless act of all is to be selfish especially if others depend on you give up your pride and heroism and respect yourself love yourself and your life first! The stronger and healthier physically mentally financially, someone is the more they can give of themselves when the time is necessary to do so.
There was nobody else around to help. She screamed for help, nobody came. It was either she tried to do something risky to save the guy, or he would die.

There was no one else there to help the patient. She tried calling for help multiple times, but nobody came! Doing things by the book doesn’t always work because reality is not like a book.
😅I stopped watching when she fell 07:48 She was foolish. I’d hope a doctor wouldn’t be that stupid to ignore their own care in real life.
WOW…! that was INTENSE
I'm a big fan

That lady reminds me of Florida on Good Times.
At first I thought it was the same actress, but I realized that this actress must be at least a generation younger than Florida
