Man, I’ve never seen a show commit such brutal character assassination out of sheer spite like this show did to Helen because the execs and writers were pissed that the actress left.
I hated doctors and nurses being interrupting by radiation tech people mister know it all doesn't understand how valuable life of dying kid and adults on the operating table and room should never be interrupted.
Obviously its a drama but the fact that the hazmat guys were so pushy to just let the patient die bc there was radiation like, dude. I get its their job and they have 0 understanding of how medically impossible that was, but damn. Whats frustrating is that its realistic that an unrelated job would care so little too.
After searching to see wha channel this show is on, it said NBC so, I recently downloaded the NBC app and I’m able to watch the full episodes now and I’m thrilled!! It’s FREE too. 100%%FREE. Sometimes it’s glitchy but it’ll due since it is free. I’m in America so not sure about out of countries and how that work’s. They stopped making new episodes it said but I’m glad to see they have some of the old ones at least as well as Chicago MD which is said to still be on the air.
I love this show, but there's no way on earth any hospital would allow the parents to watch the operation. Could you be a little bit more realistic please?
LoL. Yea..... I assume since the dad was a doctor and friends with the surgeons, he got a pass. But NO ONE should see someone they love... splayed open in an OR. If it went bad and the kid died.... not good idead
Realism is boring. It's rarely exciting and like watching paint dry. People don't watch medical dramas for that. They watch them for the drama, even if they are unrealistic as heck.

It's called suspension of disbelief. It's fine for a Hollywood TV show because most of us watching are not experts in this field.
