    So i often wonder why adventures would be prayed apon by extrotionist prices. Would would think it would be the oposit. You have a willing workforce ready to risk life and limb to push back the frontier for your nation to Annex. At no risk to your soldiers, costing your nation little, and the group at work is mostly easy to monitor, as protection from scrying would be a red flag to have a group monitored.

      Well the monsters in the sunrise mountains aren’t a threat to Thay. They barely come down to the plateau and Thay has a capable military. Might as well make some money on outlanders.

      @@Genghis_Sean its not about the monsters being a threat. Its about pushing the monsters out/under the mountions. Opening up new land, potential resources, access to any runes of value for study. Land is always of some value to a state. And with weather manipulation and magic item production capability even more so. And thay has more then enough high intellect people the could engineer highly productive lands out of mountain sides. Not to being up what wealth could be taken from the ground itself.
