Being a child of abuse (physical, emotional and verbal) 24/7 I too found it hard, but grew hard in spirit not allowing anyone close to me, not caring about what anyone thought of me (still today could care less about what ppl think about me). I found God in my bedroom closet at 6 yrs old and confided in him and told him everything. He is still with me today, I LOVE him and am so thankful that he LOVES me too.

Read the Bible too , everday , pray before you read it and the Word of God will become more real to you and touch your heart as nothing else can. You'll find peace in God that is not of this world. Start with rhe book of John and then Romans and then proceed to other books. May you find God and His peace that only He can give. God bless you. 🙏❤❤

Thank you so much for this testimony.... I knew that I was to click on it as I was scrolling through something else. I'm 52 now and I'm a Christian but I was Believing the same lies that you were. Trying desperately to fix other people to find self worth and and fix my own childhood hurts. What an amazing breakthrough I've had from this beautiful little short testimony.

Anyone who was abused by a narcissist, is a true child of God. I put up with horrific narcissistic abuse for 51 years, then Jesus came and grabbed me out of the wicked world. He’s real! Hallelujah!

My parents were the same. With God's help Ive forgiven them. My grandparents had difficulty loving also and apparently passed it down. Possibly a generational curse. But Ive made the community of God, the Church, my surrogate family, and adopted my Christian inlaws as my parents. God is a good Father and will always love us, and always be there for us. 🙏

Suffering is not a sign that God is absent. Jesus promised that we will have peace, but not like the world defines it. Peace (according to the world) is the absence of conflict, war etc. The peace that comes from Jesus is supernatural and surpasses all understanding. Therefore as born again believers we can have peace in the midst of trouble, adversity, circumstances and even war.
Why doesn't help me ? I prayed diligently for years until in my late teens I coped on , there is no God.
HE'S been there all along

One must repent and trust Christ. Please don’t leave out repentance. We “receive” Christ, not “accept” Him. A mother is to be at home with her children and not seek employment away from them. She is to be a keeper of the home and look well to the ways of your household.
Proverbs 31. I am grieved that she is pregnant and seems to be seeking employment outside the home. A mother cannot be replaced.

hmmmm, life with God is a peace?? lucky you! Life with God is one big nightmare. It is one trouble after another. No "peace"
It’s an inner peace, knowing that God is with you and that He is the true Comforter (John 14:16). Life is hard and the Christian life is not a life free of suffering. It’s a life of knowing God as peace in the midst of sufferings and trials. Just look at the apostle Paul’s life, full of hardships but still rejoicing.

Where’s this Almighty God when he is needed?????
