Same happened to me in a bar and I put my glass down and knew that life was over for me . The next day I dressed for Church and that's where I've been for the last 10 years and am a Priest. Amen.

Jesus saved me from the Islam religion and healed me of life time of depression, pain and darkness. I didn’t only hear him but saw Him, and felt his love and presence to the depth of my being....he filled my entire body with love to prove who He was....even my finger nails felt love in his presence. I went over night from questioning who Jesus is to knowing with my entire soul. Jesus changed my heart that was broken and filled with pain to full of joy and love!
A long time ago ,I noticed that so many people I was around did not have a relationship with God and his son Jesus. I put my self through high school & graduated with my class. It was so hard. I had a job so I could have food & necessary things. If I hadn't gone to church every Sunday not sure I would have made it. I think back to then and realize that your beliefs are everything. You be the light that people see.

@Welcome's House my 2nd school was the Marine Corps.= 30 plus years.
I've found myself in the same situation where I only know one person who has a relationship with God and we are not even good friends. I've been asking God for a close friend that I can relate to and talk to about God, but so far nothing. I have made up my mind that since I am in my last year of high school, my next year will either be at a Catholic university, or on a mission trip where I can surround myself with God. God willing, this will come to pass.

As a young girl I was homeless in Madrid and wandering the streets at night. It was raining and cold and I only had a thin jacket to wear. As I walked by a cafe I was struck by how happy everyone seemed, but most of all a song was playing loudly. The words “Like a bridge over troubled waters I will lay me down” by Simon and Garfunkel”. I also found my self going to clubs . I had a loved one that was in a prayer meeting that but my name on a piece of paper to be saved. Wasn’t long after that I got saved praise God continue to pray for your unsaved loved ones Jesus is the miracle worker.

In 2005 I was really drinking too much; I walked into the liquor store for 2 beers.......I felt the hand of God in the center of my chest but I proceeded to buy the beer. I took it home and it tasted like poison. The next night I went back thinking that was a bad batch of beer. Again the hand of God stopped me and this time, I said "I hear you loud and clear Lord".....I never had another drink......praised God, praise God!

I pulled up outside a party house and I heard the Lord say "You have to get away from this" and I did I ended up in another country in Bible college then I fell...He picked me up again...then I fell again...He picked me up again...then after falling again to the point of being suicidal ...He picked me up again but now with the Lord coming for the church real soon we need to turn and focus on Him
This is 100% accuracy, you escape through drugs bringing forth more and more depression and anxienty and trying to escape that by doing more drugs and more so it never ends only Jesus can break this cycle permanently.

I appreciate your story. As someone who has dealt with 10 years of Alcohol and drug abuse God helped removed that from me, at times it can he tough realizing everyone goes through difficulties. Even someone like you that was successful, attractive, and seemingly getting ahead but in reality we all have the struggles and need for God

Amen to that powerful testinony. It represents the words we find in Ezekiel 16 verses 6-8. He (Jesus) saw that it was a season of love and He spread His skirt (His arms open on the cross). He made a covenant with you and you became His. You found your identity as,a precious daughter of God and that He values you so much that He being Jesus would meet you in a bar. Reminds of the scene of Mary in season one the first episode of the chosen. Praise God for His deliverance. A new creature in Christ Jesus.
