It, along with quite a few late 90s titles from Sega, are oft overlooked. Most of the time, it's given an homage via Phantasy Star Online or SASRT. It deserves a play. Futuristic Firefighters fighting fires with lasers is the best explanation.
Though the race track is very difficult due to the sharp turns. You need to be very precise throughout it all, or you will crash with the walls. Still another great choice for the game

I kept remembering a game that I played as a kid in the Saturn, I loved the songs that come in the little disc.... and I finally find them! Oh Hell yeah! The Burning Passion on my heart will make me search for the Saturn in my father’s department just to play this!
One of quirkiest but iconic Sega soundtracks. I loved everything about the music and art design of this game - everything except actually playing it which was an infuriating experience that made me almost weep with frustration many a time. Ugh that platforming intensive final boss grrrr. Sega has my $70 the second they ever redo this on a modern console, btw.

I just replayed this game - there is zero actual platforming in the final boss. Do you mean the part before you meet Iria? That was super easy, there's no limit gauge so you can take as much time as you need

exactly. the remakes they're doing nowadays are never gonna be as good as it was in the 90s. the programs were lost so everything is made from scratch and will never have that same feeling and visuals as it was back then..... even if they did a remake of burning rangers

It makes me happy that you enjoyed this song in that game. I loved this song in the original 1998 Burning Rangers game and I'm glad that a game some people might write off as simple nostalgia baiting has brought you happiness on it's own merits. All Stars Racing Transformed was great for those of us with rose-tinted specs but could stand on it's own two feet. That Sega can bring in new fans now makes me smile.
PSO2 recently had an event quest where you go to a city area and rescue people trapped by fire, and it didn't play this. Missed opportunity Sega. Edit: so it turns out it does play BR music. Just not the theme.
