    Just seen your video, really great video and lovely music you put with it, and was our 2nd cruise with Disney to Norway and is one of the best places we have been to.

    This was a really lovely video the sail into Stavanger looked beautiful!
    We even spotted ourselves in this haha.
    You must have been so tired with all those early mornings getting the sail ins xx

      Thank you so much Emma and Jon! Waking to the alarm clock each morning was definitely tough! I hope you liked this format. I'll try to create more videos in the future. Hope to see you on a future Disney sailing!!

    I think it’s funny this video popped in my suggestions… I have a story about this trip. On minute 2:30 you can see my brother-in-law taking a photo (in the Mickey ears hat) and my mom jumping and clapping to his left. The next night, during formal night, my mom had a fall and we had to disembark in Alesund and stay there for 10 days so she could have hip surgery. We missed the rest of the trip. Thanks to this video, now we know what we missed.

      I’m so sorry to hear that! I hope your mom is okay now. Hopefully you will all be able to re-do the trip at some point!

    Thank you for this wonderful video! We are thinking about this cruise in 2025. How did you find out about the Northern Lights? An announcement on board?

    • @jjma
      @jjma  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for watching! They didn't make any announcements while people were sleeping. I was on the top deck along with a few others at 11pm in hopes something would pop up, but we didn't actually see anything until 2:15am. The few of us crazy folks who were still up spotted it, then alerted others to come up. The first night sighting got people excited to stay up for the following night, and the Auroras were indeed out again that next night.
      It really is all luck though. The crew might mention the possibility of them coming out, but there won't be a wake up call in the middle of the night. I hope you are able to see them if you do go!

    This video was amazing thanks for not narrating it! Questions for you, was it always as windy as it sounded on the top decks or was that just the mic? Would you recommend a verandah for this type of cruise? Thanks!

    • @jjma
      @jjma  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I would recommend getting a Verandah or ocean view for Norway because of the views you get in the morning entering the fjords. A thing to note is that the ship actually enters the fjord overnight for a morning arrival at each of the ports.
      Eidfjord was as windy as it sounded coming in. Alesund and Nordfjordeid were relatively calm however.

    At around 35.11 mins in, what are the sticks along the sides of the road? Norway landscapes are amazing. Enjoyed your video!

      Thanks! Those sticks are used to indicate the road edges for snow plow trucks during the Winter season. As you can probably tell, the snow can get quite deep there!
