Really well done! I live on the German Baltic coast (well, near the coast anyway) and just realized watching this how many great places I haven't even seen yet

@@LucaSitan WOW ... that's pretty cool, especially how long it was and it was someone you didn't know. But as you say, it was the locations that you enjoyed. Thank you again for watching, i'm just a guy having fun with his video camera and editing. It's been a learning process in editing. Thanks again.

How far is the port from the city center in Oslo, Amsterdam, and Belgium? I have a similar cruise coming up. Just debating if we need an excursion in every port. Love the music in the video.

Hello Amanda, thank you for checking out my video. I hope you enjoyed it. I'm pleased you liked the music, as for me that is the most important part when editing my videos. I feel as though it helps set the tone of the video presentation. I take a lot of time deciding music. As for the ports; Oslo docks pretty much near the town. The port itself you may need use ship shuttle service to get you through the working part of the port, but after that you're in the hustle and bustle of Oslo. However, you'll want to maybe research more of what you want to see in Oslo and what is in walking distance. We went to a statue park that was far from walking. As for Amsterdam, we booked, ''amsterdam on your own'' from the ship and used their service to and from Amsterdam. We were given six hours in Amsterdam, it was enough and we felt we got a good visit for a cruise stop. We did not go to Brussels, we went to Brugge instead. It was an hour closer than Brussels. We had a group of six and we reserved a drop off and pick up with a van. It worked great. We had six hours of Brugge and it was enough for a feel of what it was about. The cruise port of both Amsterdam and Belgium is not acceptable for walking around. Please let me know if you have any other questions i can help you with. Thanks again for watching my silly video. - john ripper

Hi. Well done. We are doing this Baltic cruise May 2025. I am curious to know how you toured the places. Did you book NCL excursions or did you do self guided tours by taxi to places? Or booked independent tours when off the ship? Thanks.

Hello RKCalgary, thanks for watching and your comments. We used Viator for the Russian and Klaipedia, the others were through NCL. Let me know if i can be of further assistance. Unfortunately, you won't be going to St. Petersburg.

Thank you for taking time to check out my video journal. We used Alla Tours in St. Petersburg and Klaipedia Lithuania. The other times we would either walk off the ship or take a taxi into town, where we would pick up a local walking tour. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello SamSilk, Thank you for watching my video. This was from Oceania Cruises and pre-Covid. As you know, itineraries are different now with some limited locations. Plus, our itinerary included two nights in St. Petersburg Russia, which isn't going to happen anytime soon. We were very fortunate with this itinerary. We visited 14 countries in 16 Days. Pretty hard to beat that these days.
