I have a rescue dog that had some very strange behaviour in the beginning. With exposure to love and caring, he did overcome a lot of his issues. Not all of them, unfortunately. But you don't give up on them, just like Jim always recognizing Woody and working with him and his hesitation. He did take a hot dog once. Baby steps.
Those babies are adorable I was scared for the one on the screen door but he made it back down and I think woody has the cutest head and his little white ears are precious he's just a nervous wreck I hope he gets better in time,. 👍🐾🐾

Hi Jim - almost 1000 at night here on the west coast - I know there are babies here but haven't seen them yet. My window is open ----I hear babies! So, out I go with my flashlight - 4 babies, 8 little eyes glowing in the light! I adore these little characters but do not have the relationship with them that you do with your herd!. My neighbours would NOT appreciate it! Anyway, I do have joy watching (and listening) to your wee ones. Thanks for being a great raccoon dad!

Me too! A Possum family in my yard adopted me, they followed the food trail for all the Raccoons , so now I put out extra. They are sweet &gentle , but they don't run from me anymore &I'm glad because I want them to know they are always welcome here too

Those little raccoons are part monkey. They can climb all over when they are small. Lol... Mine used to climb up my artificial tree and sit on top with what looked like a smile on her face. And would climb up the door frame and sit on top of the door. Little stinkers they are. They love having fun.

Woody is a dear, he's just got a different personality, please don't make him feel bad because he hasn't got the courage to some to you. I've taken in cats into my home that live with me that are still afraid of me and they have lived in my house for years. It's o.k. I still love them. I believe I've heard Charlotte doesn't like you to pet her, and you don't push her, I'm sure. So let's just respect Woody and his wishes and please just throw him one, as he sits up so pretty and begs. Thanks SO much. You're a wonderful fellow and I thank you for all you do for all of them.
