It’s amazing the way Jenny disappears into her characters. So many actors are just playing themselves in everything they’re in. But Jenny’s characters have such unique personalities. It’s really amazing how she becomes whoever she is playing. Just an amazing talent. I wish big things for her.

Their personalities are so unique because they're real people. They truely exist in our shared childhoods.(I'm not Cuban but I'm from Hialeah, I've gained a few Cuban Grandmas, bless ❤) And yes Jenny is an amazing actress. Truely a queen.

I can see an Abuela watching Jenny’s Abuela sweeping outside, “Dere chi goes. Da pobrecita dressing and acting like she’s an Abuela. Her poor familia must be worried about her.” *rolls eyes in Abuela chisme style*

THIS! Often I'll genuinely forget that these characters all played by the same person!
I definitely think Jenny is as versatile as Tatiana Maslany on Orphan Black.

Absolutely, she is an utterly brilliant character actress and comedian, up there with Gilda Radner or Tracey Ullman. I think she's the best young woman playing an old lady since Vicki Lawrence (and actually surpasses her). And the way she uses dialect is phenomenal-- the more I learn about Spanish, the more I recognize the different features present in the way her characters speak and how it reflects their backgrounds.

She absolutely disappears into her characters and the different personalities are so unique. That has to be difficult to pull off. I think Jenny is fantastically talented. I really hope she gets the opportunity to break big time.

You are just brilliant. I grew up Catholic in Oregon in a town that was largely Mexican. I’m Anglo, but I was adopted into the families of a few of my Mexican friends, and so had adopted abuelas. I know it’s a totally different culture, but one of the fondest memories of my childhood was Señora Herrera. She was Oaxaqueña, not much taller than me as a child, and she would grasp my face between both hands when I was visiting after school and demand “¡Ay, mi pobrecito! Are jou hongry?” As a child, I knew the only rational answer was “Sí, señora.”

Jenny when i was a little girl after church we would go to los “abuelos” house. They were the only Cubanos living in a Mexican neighborhood in Chicago. La abuela would always greet me with a besos y un abrazo. La abuela always gave me and my sisters galletas saladas y Coca Cola. Y el abuelo always listening to Perez Prado y Beny More.
All the kids on the block called them los abuelos. Such a humble couple I miss them.

I wish this were a television series. I love ALL of Jenny’s characters. She’s such a great talent. I relate to all of them because I know and “Abuela, a “Maruchi”, a “Laritza” and a “Tia Gloria”. Her characterizations are spot on and HILARIOUS 😆! May God continue to bless her in everything she does! ❤️😍

Hey Jenny, can u do a video on Abuela's evening/night routine? I think that would be great. I really enjoyed this one. I laughed so hard at end when Maurchi & Laritza woke up too!

Leucci11 I swear, there’s a council of ethnic moms where they discuss and agree upon standards that they’re all going to abide by. “Ok, we’re still putting the sewing equipment in the cookie tins? All in favor say Yay”

I was laughing and started to tear up near the end of the video because her abuela character reminds me so much of my abuela. It'll be five years since she passed this July and I still miss her so much. Thank you Jenny for making these hilarious videos, keep it up. 💖
