Great job. I woulda painted over the Tracker logo though lol
when I painted my 12w I taped off the logo the same way and had the same reaction when I took the tape off, lol. I should have done it square also! I ended up painting over it in the end, it bothered me! check out mine in some of my videos for ideas if you'd like.

What color did you use for the blotch, the tree bark, the grass clumps,and the grass?

Typically when I've done this in the past paint will cake onto the stencils then bleed through after its clumped up a bit, howd you guys avoid this?
Use a paper towel to clean the stencils when it starts the clump

Gooseneck Retrievers decals are actually a flat beige color in person. Hard to tell in the video. Our blind covers that anyway 😁

Derek England 2 cans of each color would be safe. We used a lot of black. You can always return what you don't use

how necessary is the primer?
James Jennings it's not. We didn't prime at all. The boat was already Painted so we just cleaned it real good. If your boat is unpainted or in rough shape you should use self etching primer as a base coat so it will stick to the aluminum.
How good did the paint stay?

Looks like a 3.5 hp. Just build a mud motor if your making a duck boat

Chris Brinson yeah but the ones you buy are a lot better. May be Linked in description? If not I'll add em. They are made for it and clean off better

Chris Brinson just linked them in the description. amzn.to/2tcAgae. That's basically what we used. We had one other blotch style pattern that we wanted. You can get that from the same company or just make one with stencil plastic front he craft store.

nope. it wont wash off. It my chip some if you bang into something, but we duck hunt with it and have no issues. Use a self etching primer first if your doing an unpainted boat
