Saw them last year at Wolf Trap. Tremendous show. Every time they do this song it’s never exactly the same. No auto tune No backing tracks Just raw live music ❤ Not to mention the way she looks at him while he plays. Yeah I’m a sentimental old guy.
Dericks lead into Susan's voice cant be beat , these two were ment to be together and the world benefits from it ! Not to mention the talent the rest of the band brings ! Outstanding I hope to get to see them
MIH is a bedrock song for the TTB and every version is a different gem. But I'm with you, the E-town is the one I chose for my Podcast. There is no best version, but there is none better than the E-Town take.
I was a fan of both Susan and Derek before they got together, saw them live together as the Soul Stew Revival and several times since. I am in complete awe that somehow they just keep getting better. Best band on the planet. I do miss Kofi, though.
I just ❤ that 0:57 the 4 times i was '"Lucky to see them at Red Rocks, this Tune Always had a Different into by Derrick. But this could be the Best intro to this Song!!🥰
When every version of the songs they do are great and different, that is because you get to watch. Real Musicians. These people are pure musicians. They know each other so well, that they can read each other's minds. True greatness that has become rare in a lot of music . This due somewhat to producers that. May not even lay an instrument that digitally put tunes together with a lot of sampling. It has its place. But it is really a computer . And it comes close. But it is missing "feelings" and "heart " and "soul". It is kind of sad . Because music is Always a reflection of the World around us. We need more Love in the music . We need more Love in this World. We are becoming digitized as human beings. I'll get off of my analog soap box now and have good cry.
Jammin like a fox. They have a certain code of ethics that they alk respect because they respect each other as they should and they respect the music. There is a humble joy that gushes from them . This us what music is supposed to be like. For them as well as us. You feel like you become a part of them like an extended family. Thats one of the many things I truly love about being a musician. Being totally immersed in a tune while playing alone or with other players is such a rush ! And the instant feedback from the audience . Well its my drug of choice. Pure global love. The bedt. Then you get off the stage and crash back to Earth if tou are not careful , it can make life off stage complicated.
Maybe it's a cultural thing,I can't understand the applause when master musicians are playing. Can you not wait a few minutes to show your appreciation 😮
I can't decide what transports me more - Derek's slide or Susan's voice. Easily the best band on Earth and I'll go to every show I possibly can.
Agreed. They are all superb. Dwayne and Greg are aways there. In every note, in every word sung.

Honesty, trust, and pure respectful love....it's common among musicians...
not in some of the bands I've been in @@wimvondenbergh5345 LOL
Was there too! Wildly wonderful show! Audience on their feet from song 1, which doesn’t happen at Wolf Trap!
Sentimental also applies to their nod toward the ABB in their music. God bless the TTB and paying it forward.
Every 'version' of this song they play is magickal ... every time different
These people are great musicians.
Duane Allman would be very proud of Derek. Gregg knew the talent of Derek.
I saw the Allman Brothers when Derek joined them, I thought he was Duane reincarnated! He was/ is phenomenal! 😊
@@dope3STeesthank you for saying brother!
Yes, very proud. Thank you Derek for being a vessel for Duane to reach us from the other side.
These guys are part of the reason why this world is beautiful. Great music makes it miraculous!
So true, so true.
I ❤the way Susan pronounces Harlem. It adds such class and respect to the name and neighborhood .
Absolutely amazing Backing singer's

OMG! Derek, Susan; the whole band, you all guys made cry with this performance.
I love the E-town version best, even though they are all good ❤ 🎸🎶🎸❤️🎸🎶🎸

Something about the pacing of that one and the way the organ sounds in that space...
@@mikeschenk4730 You got that right, the tempo is relaxed and the organ is liquid.
Paris as well
This One in Better imo .. BUT the end of the solo in the e-town concert Is over the top 💥🎸💥🎸 but i look mostly at Truck 😎
I don't think I've ever seen DT play with his back to the audience for such an extended time.
Gorgeous
Such talent makes me glad to be alive to witness! ❤
That guitar sound gets deep into your soul!!!!!
The musical progeny of the Allman Bros. Honoring and surpassing them! So good!
Honoring them yes surpassing them, sorry not a chance. Super good but they are not The Allmans especially with Duane & Berry.
Holy Cow!! Excuse me, the Best take I've heard this tune! RIP Kofi. 🎉
I have listened to a number of live versions of this beautiful tune and this one, like others, brings tears to my eyes. ❤
This art is something to love. I love it sooo much! such a beautiful perfomance.
and lucky enough to be in the crowd......really special....the view and ambiance.......something really special.

Ooh, heard that "Little...Something" in the intro.
Killer great musican Greg appliance rip
Mike Mattison where is he...greatest song from the last 15 years. Miss the sound of Kofi and Oteil bass
Maybe it's a cultural thing,I can't understand the applause when master musicians are playing. Can you not wait a few minutes to show your appreciation 😮
I see this as an interaction of love... So it's ok ❤ + most of them are drunk😂 🍻🍻🍻🎸🎉
Nice sitar simulation at the beginning.
Great Allman brothers music
That's some sexy saxophone
Martha...
Is Susan wearing a cardigan? 🥰🥰
Bolero jacket
First class presentation. As usual. Nobody in the band seems to relate much to the audience.
Kebi!
They are certainly easy on the ears. Ear candy, if you will.
A little bassy
