Hi, Bekah! I had a goal of 24 books in 2024 and I read 40 with an average rating of 3.8 stars. Your Deck of TBR-a-thon was what really helped my blow my goal out of the water in 2024! My goal for 2025 is 52 books; basically one book per week. I know the TBR-a-thon is a massive undertaking, but I really enjoyed it and valued the encouragement I received from participating. Have a lovely day, Bekah!
Wow, that is absolutely amazing that you read 169 books while working, raising a family, being pregnant and having a youtube channel💪. I read 52 books in 2024 which is the most ever but i dream of building it up to a number like yours so i might be able to read all the unread books i own😂
@@ThebookishSAHM thank you so much! 52 is still WAY more than so many people. You should be very proud! And yes… the never ending pile of unread books is real!
I read 56 books, with an average rating of 4.1! This was the most I’ve read in years, so I’m super happy with myself. I also added a few books to my all-time favorites this year: Lady Tan’s Circle of Women, Book of a Thousand Days, and A Place to Hang the Moon. So fun seeing your stats! I always fall behind on tracking my reading, so I’m not even going to try this year 😂
This was my first year getting back into reading after a long time, and I read 98 books with an average rating of 3.97, mostly fantasy and romance (an equal amount of each at 58, actually XD). Been loving watching your videos since the Deck of TBR-athon in August, and looking forward to aspiring to your reading example even more in the new year! ❤
This is a lot of good information! I've had a book counted twice on GR before, too - it's easy to fix in the "edit my activity" tab. I don't know about you but that's the ticky tack little stuff that drives me crazy lol. My total books read went up quite a bit this year, and I think it's because I leaned hard into tandem or multiple format reading, which really worked for me. Have you seen Krys' Corner series readathon? I've never tracked that before but I think doing their bingo board will be a good way for me to slowly work on that. Happy 2025!
