It just doesn’t make sense financially to buy the X5M. Last year I was thinking about getting the latest X4M, but after driving it and comparing it to the X4 M40i, it just didn’t make sense to pay extra for 0,6 second faster car and for 330km max speed which I will never try to reach. This year I am considering to switch to a BMW X5 M60i, and the X5M doesn’t make any sense financially. You buy the most powerful X5 for 30-40k less, which more comfortable than the M and a slightly bit slower. For 5K you can buy a full body kit extensions of carbon fiber, do a full PPF + Ceramic coatic and make it look better than the X5M aaand is cheaper. I think this car only makes sense to get when you have F.U money, and you just want to make a statement. But this is just my point of you.
If you only have one garage space this is a great solution, but I cant stand the idea of a luxury SUV with hard, high bolstered sports seats. Why are car manufacturers going with a flat slab of screen for an instrument panel..it is hideous and uninspired. A man wants to feel he is in a cockpit with a inlaid instrument panel not feel like he is the passenger in his own car! That is what the huge flat screen makes it feel like
“I get super annoyed when my wheels get dirty”. I would rather have dirty wheels with brakes that stop on a dime.
Best luxury suv on the market other then the turbo gt
The new slow blinking turn signals make the whole car look cheap.
$150k is wayyyy too much meanwhile the base model with identical exterior packages costs half of the price….
The Porsche Turbo is sportier, but cost much more and is less utilitarian. It doesn't even tow.
Would only lease, never buy. Although the recent reliability marks are excellent, that's hard to believe based on what ny neighbor went through with their X5, mind you it was a 2013 model with the 6 cylinder engine.
6:39 the taillights are a complete and utter failure. No proper separate running, brake and amber turn signals and the nonsensical pulsing is ineffective and ambiguous and need to be reprogrammed ASAP. Why can barely any manufacturers design safe, effective and unambiguous tailllights anymore with proper separate running, brake and amber turn signals? It's completely baffling.
Hmmm I don't know Sofyan, is a running shoe better than a rainboot, or a dress shoe?
All cars do NOT need to be a sedan.
It's not necessarily flattering that you coined the X5 M a sedan. For people like me, that's immediately off putting. I want my performance SUV to still feel like an SUV.
You cant even adjust the headrest in these… AMG at least gives you the option to choose normal bolstered heated/cooled/massage seats. I wish BMW did this on their M SUVs.
Hey boo the M definitely stands for Motorsport
It is without a shadow of a doubt BMW's best SUV. Starting to adopt some of the BMW uggo design language with this model year tho....😮😢🤦♀️
BMW manufactures some of the ugliest cars ever made. Hyundai is a close second. To their credit, they make the best seats. Ford comes in second, although they're general seating comfort. While BMW is designed more toward sport.

Fuel efficiency is worse than a F150 truck.
You think someone who’s buying this car cares about the fuel economy? This big ass suv is quicker than 99% of cars on the road so ofc it’s gonna guzzle
