- Hello, my friends! In this Russian TPR lesson we're gonna go to a city and learn some new verbs of motion and nouns + practice them in speech!
This video is designed for absolutely beginners, but others can consider it as a useful practice lesson as well. All these verbs, words and actions given you have to perform along with me, because this is a point of TPR - Total Physical Response.
However if you just want to watch this lesson - feel free and enjoy it, but keep in mind, that repetitions are very very important therefore try to watch it at least 2-3 times.

Excellent refreshing course. I studied Russian at school for some years - never took it too seriously, though. The only word I did not know was 'medlenno". And now there was some basic conjugation and noun deflection. Same in German, but the location is expressed there with the dativ case. Direction/accusative is the same.

Я в городе. I'm in (where: location) the city. Prepositional case
Я иду в город,. I'm going (where: direction) to the city. Accusative case.

Потому что я бегу в парке, внутри (inside) парка.
А если я в супермаркете и хочу бежать в парк, то я буду бежать В парк. Я бегу из супермаркета в парк.

In videos of cities, I see rows of small buildings at the edge of the city. Are these work shops?
Could you add a link to the pic to specify that?

Russian With Max Ну это все известные психолингвистические штуки, в теории. Я практик, поэтому и спрашиваю: а вы реально знаете людей, которые таким образом научились общаться на иностранном языке? :-)
TPR - это не курс обучения говорению на иностранном языке. Это подход, который помогает в овладевании иностранным языком, особенно, если речь идёт о движениях. Это отличный инструмент для выполнения определенного рода задач и я его активно и успешно использовал со своими учениками в Китае.
Russian With Max Да, я знаю разницу между курсом и методом. Но все-таки, выучили они 10-15 глаголов движения, а дальше? Традиционные методы ведь? :-)
Если действительно интересно, то советую почитать труды Дж. Ашера - основателя метода. Там написано, что делать дальше.
