Every hunter has the same “uhhh” and “ahhhh” Gendered of course but having a new grunts wouldn’t give anyone an advantage beyond knowing a different skin is being used If you can’t tell by gunshot noise already you wouldn’t be able to ascertain anything useful by the change
@@PirateR4ptor I have Prestiged to Prestige Level 1, and i've got way too many Hunters i've built to my liking for me to ever be willing to lose them by Prestiging. Building them the first time was damn hard enough. The price for Prestiging is too high for me to ever do it no matter what I would get in exchange. :(
the "rarity system" is something this game does not need, and i feel the devs will use it to raise the price of certain skins. as if some aren't already absurdly expensive.

The rarity system already exists in the game and it doesn't really change any existing functionality, it just makes it more understandable to new players. It's understandable to be concerned, but it's not actually any under the hood change - just UI/UX that is more easily related to other games.

I liked the grind to be honest... Now they really need to remove half of the custom ammo from some weapons. ITS geting to the level that weapons are no specialized and you have everything on anything.

EXACTLY THIS! It should be something like lvl 1-20 is T1 looking, then 20-40 is Tier2 Looks, then when you reach 40-50 your hunter looks like a Tier 3. So you know that guy has traits and probs a sweaty loadout and perhaps is trying harder than the guy in the blue shirt looking like farmer and bringing romero, nagant.
Don't feel the new UI is any easier than the existing one,if anything info is lost amongst unnecessary sub menus.. And what's happening with the Book of Weapons/Monsters?

I certainly understand everything, but is it possible to give PC users an adequate user interface, and not these huge icons requiring horizontal scrolling, etc.? And the hunter selection menu, why does it cover half of the character model? Crytek, what about hiring competent designers?

I think, people want to see step forward, but now we can only see jump backward and rarity for skeens, wich is totally unneeded in this game.
Yeah it's kinda funny. Like the freaking screen that you tweak your loadout for the free hunter takes up your whole screen and has so stupidly big boxes. It means you can see only one loadout at a time. While in the current UI u can see all available free hunters and their loudout right under them. This is a straight up downgrade lol
I dont like the cosmetics rarity. not only does it look bad with all those colors in the menue, it kinda feels like a reason to charge more for the 'very super awesome' skins which they do already but now it could get worse
yeah that is all there is to it. Before the BB skins in the game did cost like idk 600 BBs and the newer ones kept costing more and more and DLC hunters became way better deal in comparison. Later they removed for players to earn BBs ingame properly, limiting it to 50 per week through those dumb challenges and they still kept releasing insanely expensive BB hunters. Freaking Corvid costs 2000 BBs. So yeah now they have a system that will justify all of this and will introduce some standardised crazy price categories. Also kinda cute how they are basically selling to us the tier 2 and 3 hunters as skins, very smooth.
They've blatantly said that tier 2+ high level hunt dollar bought hunters will now be locked behind bloodbonds and named, they're literally just locking old free reward (being high level and buying a tier 2+ hunter) content behind a paywall, making free money for nothing. Greed.

@@saverx1775 You can finish all the trials in less than a few hours if you're good at the game, or honestly just decent. A single prestige can easily take over 20 hours of playtime, so I'd argue prestiging multiple times is much harder work than finishing a few trials.
Rarity doesn't belong in this game at all, it makes people want to use whats considered "Higher Rarity" compared to what they actually like, plus none of the skins are exactly "rare" anyway since you can drop $20 on the game and get anything that's not an event exclusive. (Edit) it seems that a lot of you missed the point of this comment, I was simply stating that a rarity system does not belong in this game and should not be added. To those in the reply section saying "I just use what I like regardless" I want to point out that with this comment I was not speaking of any individual person more as It was to the gaming community, as there are a lot of people who care more about the rarity of a skin rather than if it even looks good.

I usually go and instantly recruit them, dump the loadouts and traits, set the traits I usually go for, and then once I've filled my roster, go and prekit them all with the money I got from fmrunning tons of soul survivor, and then I play bounty hunt Edit: I'll buy the legendary hunters when I go through the entire list of quickplay hunters
Rarity over legendaries, what a shame. Random names is so much better for recruiting hunters, new blood always comes for the hunt, now it’s just same old same old. Some changes are nice but feels more directed toward those who don’t want to experiment with different weapons to unlock ammo variants, why is that? Playing different weapons toward special ammo and variant is part of the hunt experience, why does this update makes it so boring?
Please just keep the recruitment menu as simple as it is right now! Theres really no need for more than 2 clicks to get a hunter! Also I liked the hunter tiers system ;(
you have to agree it was all pretty confusing though, especially before getting your hours up on the game. menues should be naturally intuitive and self explaining, and in my opinion they just arent right now.
@@oscarandersson2818 agree. everyone is complaining just because it's new, but the old menu was objectively a mess. and it wasn't quick to recruit either, you had to go to recruitment, then go to the category of hunter you want, and if it's a legendary scroll all through them to find it. The recruitment was very far from the equipment menu
So what happens if you have completed all the trials but haven't progressed far enough into prestige to unlock those rewards? Do you lose those items that you have already earned until you grind prestige higher? 😢

@@drycattle That's not what he said though, he said the progression system is being reworked and the monster tracking system is being reworked and is not yet ready. The only thing we know is that come August the Book of Weapons and the Book of Monsters will be gone. And given what happened to the Louisiana Scrapbook I think we in the lore community are justified to be worried that history might be repeating itself and five years of narrative are just being unceremoniously dropped.

Bro they're cutting out old free content like tier 2+ unique looking hunters and locking them behind a paywall. This and the blatant ripoff cod ui design (made to draw in shooter genre players, to make more money). This is greed, unnecessary and annoying. Nothing about this ui is better and takes several more clicks, cuts out information and locks free content behind paywalls. This is gonna be the lowest point in hunt yet. Just gross.

I love all of the changes, except for the UI. It seems heavily-skewed towards consoles and it doesn't look like it actually solves any problems for PC players, just rearranges them. It still looks like it takes the same amount of clicks and opening new tabs as it did before.
How is it bad? Genuine question, I really don't know how it can be harmful on its own. It just looks like a new form of labelling to me, if anything, it looks beneficial to me to put together the tiers of generic hunters and the legendary ones and allowing us to choose whichever we want

The custom ammo unlocks are what was stopping me from getting all my favorite weapons every prestige: to much grind. Now with this new change I finally will be able to play with lemat variants ever now and then.
It just allows them to price hunters according to how much work goes into their design. Cheaper for base hunters while more elaborate hunters will be more (not sure what "more" is yet)
Many Turkish players are experiencing access problems in Hunt. especially in trio games. 1 player in the team definitely cannot participate. Crytek did not make any statement regarding this. And they did not solve the problem for 7-8 months.
But why would I press the prestige button if I have almost half a million hunt dollars and the system gives me 8 thousand hunt dollars to spend when I press it? If it wouldn't take away the hard earned little money I've farmed over the years I'd still be interested, but this way.....thx but no thx.:(

Am I misunderstanding or missing something? So the only changes to prestiege is that you get the trial rewards every 5 levels? What does that mean if you already have those rewards?
Why, why is everything scrollable horizontally? For PC players it's a huge set back in UI navigation, for controller pressing up/down instead of left/right to navigate a menu is no different, so going with horizontally scrollable sub-menus for loadout selection and hunter selection from roster is an unnecessary annoyance, and instead of saving up on clicks we will now have to click even more to get to where we want, not to mention that scrolling vertically with a mouse wheel is x100 times for intuitive for mouse and keyboard.
as someone who doesn't prestige, I am so happy I finished the trials before this change. Imagine not being able to unlock very basic skins (the trial reward skins) without prestiging...
it wouldn't be so bad if they buried them in the maps - maybe you can find a treasure map in a building, and dig up a chest - blood bonds, game money or skins inside.

Adding stupid rarities to hunters is just going to subconsciously make people choose the rarer hunters to play with. Why use a basic bitch when I could use a fancy mythic hunter? Such a dumb idea.
Now you have to 1 click to change a weapon skin, with a new UI you need to go throu 2 menus to do the same. Now you can see all hunter for hire, then you'll need to click on every hunter to see equip. Can I play on current UI pls? Im not a console player, I don't need it
Every thing is looking awesome! I really wished that the prestige 100 skin was something more unique to encourage players to prestige and grind or perhaps a special name template, gloves.. there is so many cool ideas for prestige 100 rewards i hope this will be taken into consideration much love hunt team.
Looks great Please please please let us save favorite health bar load outs though. One of the more tedious aspect of setting up a new hunter is always having to change their health bars to the set up i like. Im super glad we can do it for free now, but i feel *most* of us tend to set our health bars up the same way every game- and have to adjust every new hunter we get to what we like. Or at a minimum, lets be real since this is what most people do anyways: Just set it to 4 small bars by default, and let players customize from there.

I still feel that its one step forward, two steps back with this whole revamp update. Things just needed polishing not a full overhaul. The nicest thing I noticed is the ability to chose rewards at prestige; because there are rewards and skins I don't really care about and I already have a large collection to the point where things are cluttered in my collection of skins.
I think that's not possible. If you hear a death scream it should not be possible knowing which hunter exactly died only if it is male or female so they won't do that. But I for myself would appreciate that, too. 😁

I'll be honest (tho I doubt anyone will read after so long) I actually liked the "shared progression" system, where you could share the experience on the weapon your teammate was using, that way you would end up having the most important weapons faster and even other less importants, or if you wanted a less popular one you could grind it yourself
It appears so. He said all the rewards are retroactive and that there will be ones every 5 levels so if you're P100 you should be getting a legendary for hitting P15, P35, P45, P55, P65, P75, P85 and P95.

Bro I am mad that everyone just gets the trial skins for free too. As a prestige 100 I did everything the game had to offer. And now I gain a skin from a tutorial which I didn't even play once. It's kinda a slap to the face for every OG that grinded to prestige 100 before easy mode
Oh i kinda expected them to rework the prestige system like they promised a while ago. Like kinda changing how it works or adding some more features to it to freshen each of your playthroughs, offer some unique customisable content or whatever. But nah they left the prestige the same only stuffed it with rewards from trials and skins of tier 1 hunters lol. good job
I have to say something about the last video regarding the cheater/hacker section because I didn't comment on the video because I only saw the video a few days later. But as someone who comes from rainbow six siege and has years of experience fighting cheaters, I have to say that it's almost impossible to tell that someone is cheating/hacking in hunt showdown. Only with the most obvious cheaters is that possible. Unfortunately, there are many who don't make it obvious. And it's not our responsibility to keep our gaming experience cheat-free. It's your responsibility. Even with replay functions, you have to watch some cheaters for minutes to see that they can see through walls or use soft/hard aimbots. Unfortunately, not all cheaters are obvious and want their account banned. Even if that's almost never the case with even the most obvious cheaters. As someone who loves Hunt Showdown and plays as fairly as possible, even in solo runs I often form a team with another solo player after our gunfight, I don't ignite most of the opponents because I find the feature too frustrating, and I write a "gg wp" on the corpses in the chat because the gunfight was really fun. I think if something is suspicious I report the opponent and hope that YOU DEVELOPER get to the bottom of it to see whether this person is cheating or not.
oh and one more thing. why should I waste my time watching my opponent and checking if he is cheating when you should have people who are paid for it. I just want to have a good time with friends and enemies in a fair game
Respectfully, why do you care? If, as you say, it is difficult to distinguish a cheater from a legitimate skilled player, how does it affect your game? I'd understand if you were encountering spinbots or getting killed at spawn or something, but I think the witch-hunting is silly. I ask this as someone who's never cheated. I have 1.2kd, I'm 4*, I hit very few of my shots. I get called a cheater constantly in-game and have pages upon pages of abuse on my Steam profile. Maybe just play the silly cowboy game?

So far everything thats coming to this game is extremely well good looking! These changes are much needed and will keep the game going! Really looking forward to how the game looks on ps5 with the engine upgrade! Hope it looks and lives to the hype

It's a nice change, it makes the difference between regen and heal much clearer. It was ok, but his better.
Also it's a cross now which it couldn't have been if it was red like before.
It's been purple the whole time.. regen is purple and heal is red.

I think, people want to see step forward, but now we can only see jump backward and rarity for skeens, wich is totally unneeded in this game.

Yeah it's kinda funny. Like the freaking screen that you tweak your loadout for the free hunter takes up your whole screen and has so stupidly big boxes. It means you can see only one loadout at a time. While in the current UI u can see all available free hunters and their loudout right under them. This is a straight up downgrade lol
I dont like the cosmetics rarity. not only does it look bad with all those colors in the menue, it kinda feels like a reason to charge more for the 'very super awesome' skins which they do already but now it could get worse
yeah that is all there is to it. Before the BB skins in the game did cost like idk 600 BBs and the newer ones kept costing more and more and DLC hunters became way better deal in comparison. Later they removed for players to earn BBs ingame properly, limiting it to 50 per week through those dumb challenges and they still kept releasing insanely expensive BB hunters. Freaking Corvid costs 2000 BBs. So yeah now they have a system that will justify all of this and will introduce some standardised crazy price categories. Also kinda cute how they are basically selling to us the tier 2 and 3 hunters as skins, very smooth.

@@saverx1775 You can finish all the trials in less than a few hours if you're good at the game, or honestly just decent. A single prestige can easily take over 20 hours of playtime, so I'd argue prestiging multiple times is much harder work than finishing a few trials.
I really dislike the rarity system. We are not an MMO.
Also, please leave an ability to recruit non-free hunters with random, non-basic load-outs
having 3k hours into the game on prestige 1 ... finally getting real rewards for prestigeing feels so good to me. damn

Rarity doesn't belong in this game at all, it makes people want to use whats considered "Higher Rarity" compared to what they actually like, plus none of the skins are exactly "rare" anyway since you can drop $20 on the game and get anything that's not an event exclusive.

To those in the reply section saying "I just use what I like regardless" I want to point out that with this comment I was not speaking of any individual person more as It was to the gaming community, as there are a lot of people who care more about the rarity of a skin rather than if it even looks good.

@@rygzengrho that's what I go for. I usually go and instantly recruit them, dump the loadouts and traits, set the traits I usually go for, and then once I've filled my roster, go and prekit them all with the money I got from fmrunning tons of soul survivor, and then I play bounty hunt

Random names is so much better for recruiting hunters, new blood always comes for the hunt, now it’s just same old same old.
Some changes are nice but feels more directed toward those who don’t want to experiment with different weapons to unlock ammo variants, why is that? Playing different weapons toward special ammo and variant is part of the hunt experience, why does this update makes it so boring?
Please just keep the recruitment menu as simple as it is right now! Theres really no need for more than 2 clicks to get a hunter!

you have to agree it was all pretty confusing though, especially before getting your hours up on the game. menues should be naturally intuitive and self explaining, and in my opinion they just arent right now.
@@oscarandersson2818 agree. everyone is complaining just because it's new, but the old menu was objectively a mess. and it wasn't quick to recruit either, you had to go to recruitment, then go to the category of hunter you want, and if it's a legendary scroll all through them to find it. The recruitment was very far from the equipment menu

So what happens if you have completed all the trials but haven't progressed far enough into prestige to unlock those rewards? Do you lose those items that you have already earned until you grind prestige higher? 😢
I assume you will just keep the unlocks and get another random legendary unlock at the prestige levels the old trial rewards unlock at.

@@drycattle That's not what he said though, he said the progression system is being reworked and the monster tracking system is being reworked and is not yet ready. The only thing we know is that come August the Book of Weapons and the Book of Monsters will be gone. And given what happened to the Louisiana Scrapbook I think we in the lore community are justified to be worried that history might be repeating itself and five years of narrative are just being unceremoniously dropped.

Bro they're cutting out old free content like tier 2+ unique looking hunters and locking them behind a paywall. This and the blatant ripoff cod ui design (made to draw in shooter genre players, to make more money). This is greed, unnecessary and annoying. Nothing about this ui is better and takes several more clicks, cuts out information and locks free content behind paywalls. This is gonna be the lowest point in hunt yet. Just gross.

I love all of the changes, except for the UI. It seems heavily-skewed towards consoles and it doesn't look like it actually solves any problems for PC players, just rearranges them. It still looks like it takes the same amount of clicks and opening new tabs as it did before.
Rarity level idea is very very bad and will hurt the game. Not Cryteks wallet though.
How is it bad? Genuine question, I really don't know how it can be harmful on its own. It just looks like a new form of labelling to me, if anything, it looks beneficial to me to put together the tiers of generic hunters and the legendary ones and allowing us to choose whichever we want

The custom ammo unlocks are what was stopping me from getting all my favorite weapons every prestige: to much grind. Now with this new change I finally will be able to play with lemat variants ever now and then.

Many Turkish players are experiencing access problems in Hunt. especially in trio games. 1 player in the team definitely cannot participate. Crytek did not make any statement regarding this. And they did not solve the problem for 7-8 months.
But why would I press the prestige button if I have almost half a million hunt dollars and the system gives me 8 thousand hunt dollars to spend when I press it? If it wouldn't take away the hard earned little money I've farmed over the years I'd still be interested, but this way.....thx but no thx.:(

Why, why is everything scrollable horizontally? For PC players it's a huge set back in UI navigation, for controller pressing up/down instead of left/right to navigate a menu is no different, so going with horizontally scrollable sub-menus for loadout selection and hunter selection from roster is an unnecessary annoyance, and instead of saving up on clicks we will now have to click even more to get to where we want, not to mention that scrolling vertically with a mouse wheel is x100 times for intuitive for mouse and keyboard.
So when do I get my refund for blood bond price adjustments with hunters?
Where's the raining type of map? Was it removed permanently?

Now you have to 1 click to change a weapon skin, with a new UI you need to go throu 2 menus to do the same. Now you can see all hunter for hire, then you'll need to click on every hunter to see equip. Can I play on current UI pls? Im not a console player, I don't need it

I really wished that the prestige 100 skin was something more unique to encourage players to prestige and grind or perhaps a special name template, gloves.. there is so many cool ideas for prestige 100 rewards i hope this will be taken into consideration much love hunt team.

One of the more tedious aspect of setting up a new hunter is always having to change their health bars to the set up i like. Im super glad we can do it for free now, but i feel *most* of us tend to set our health bars up the same way every game- and have to adjust every new hunter we get to what we like.
Or at a minimum, lets be real since this is what most people do anyways: Just set it to 4 small bars by default, and let players customize from there.

I still feel that its one step forward, two steps back with this whole revamp update. Things just needed polishing not a full overhaul. The nicest thing I noticed is the ability to chose rewards at prestige; because there are rewards and skins I don't really care about and I already have a large collection to the point where things are cluttered in my collection of skins.
I don't know how I feel about the new UI. We'll just have to wait and see.
Is it possible to get specific voices to specific skins to give them more character during a match?
I think that's not possible. If you hear a death scream it should not be possible knowing which hunter exactly died only if it is male or female so they won't do that. But I for myself would appreciate that, too. 😁

I'll be honest (tho I doubt anyone will read after so long) I actually liked the "shared progression" system, where you could share the experience on the weapon your teammate was using, that way you would end up having the most important weapons faster and even other less importants, or if you wanted a less popular one you could grind it yourself
what if youre lvl 100 and have finished all trials as well, will we get random legendary drops instead?
It appears so. He said all the rewards are retroactive and that there will be ones every 5 levels so if you're P100 you should be getting a legendary for hitting P15, P35, P45, P55, P65, P75, P85 and P95.

The menu now is more fitted to console then to PC imo.
And even then, it’s still not good for console either.

Bro I am mad that everyone just gets the trial skins for free too. As a prestige 100 I did everything the game had to offer. And now I gain a skin from a tutorial which I didn't even play once. It's kinda a slap to the face for every OG that grinded to prestige 100 before easy mode

I have to say something about the last video regarding the cheater/hacker section because I didn't comment on the video because I only saw the video a few days later. But as someone who comes from rainbow six siege and has years of experience fighting cheaters, I have to say that it's almost impossible to tell that someone is cheating/hacking in hunt showdown. Only with the most obvious cheaters is that possible. Unfortunately, there are many who don't make it obvious. And it's not our responsibility to keep our gaming experience cheat-free. It's your responsibility.
Even with replay functions, you have to watch some cheaters for minutes to see that they can see through walls or use soft/hard aimbots. Unfortunately, not all cheaters are obvious and want their account banned. Even if that's almost never the case with even the most obvious cheaters.
As someone who loves Hunt Showdown and plays as fairly as possible, even in solo runs I often form a team with another solo player after our gunfight, I don't ignite most of the opponents because I find the feature too frustrating, and I write a "gg wp" on the corpses in the chat because the gunfight was really fun. I think if something is suspicious I report the opponent and hope that YOU DEVELOPER get to the bottom of it to see whether this person is cheating or not.
oh and one more thing. why should I waste my time watching my opponent and checking if he is cheating when you should have people who are paid for it. I just want to have a good time with friends and enemies in a fair game
Respectfully, why do you care? If, as you say, it is difficult to distinguish a cheater from a legitimate skilled player, how does it affect your game? I'd understand if you were encountering spinbots or getting killed at spawn or something, but I think the witch-hunting is silly.
I ask this as someone who's never cheated. I have 1.2kd, I'm 4*, I hit very few of my shots. I get called a cheater constantly in-game and have pages upon pages of abuse on my Steam profile.
Maybe just play the silly cowboy game?
