  • Here were some fire engines from Hereford & Worcester Fire & Rescue. I think they were here after a major lorry fire had occurred to be on standby should anything else go wrong. There was also the incident support unit from Droitwich fire station as well as a Highways England (now National Highways) traffic officer unit and a police car. Unfortunately being on the wrong side of the carriageway and in the dark I couldn’t quite identify which vehicles are what apart from the incident support unit.
Two Scania fire engines, Iveco Daily incident support unit, West Mercia Police and Highways England vehicles.

On our way back, they actually shut that part of the motorway for road works, we were wondering if they were going to move the tanker and that these fire engines were here on standby while they were doing it should anything happen

@@blue.light.fazbear It is most likely they stoodby while they recovered the tanker, in case of any leaks or further fire hazards. Not to mention just assisting technically!
