I would love to see an indepth video explaining the vehicles and staffing of fire apparatus in the UK. It's mind boggling to me to see an aerial truck with only two seats! What are the job breakdowns for the different positions on the different types of apparatus? Etc
Yea finally they was a waste of money they spend most of the time off the run and they can’t be used at certain jobs they aren’t called carps now they are multi star +
Great catchs mate, Appreciate the work you put into these video's. I have a Question tho, How do you know whats coming and when, also howd you know the call signs?
Thank you very much, I appreciate the kind words! I don't know what's coming, I merely just wait and see what comes! As for the callsigns, I used to be a huge enthusiast of WMFS and spent hours learning about the brigade / visiting stations. I got to learn the system but now use the WMFS Wikipedia page for ones I don't know/remember.
CobraEmergencyVideos wow! I don’t recommend using Wikipedia for callsigns as the lists are often incomplete. I recommend fleet lists and photo databases with captions! Great vid btw

That was a stubborn bugger of a fire to knock down, I don't know what the MP was but they sure threw a lot of resources at it. Would a second aerial have helped ?
1:57 that driver if the white stopped right by the keep left sign and had no idea what to do when approached by emergency vehicles....they should have carried on through and not slowed the fire truck down.
@@LondonEmergency999 what, having all the time in the world, realise there is a fire engine behind you, slam the brakes on at a crossing with just mm to sparr either side of the appliance? they should have stopped earlier or driven through the crossing and stopped further ahead.
AB you will be surprised how many times that happens to you when you are on a blue light run I think they just see the blue lights and panic it frustrates the hell out of me but there ain’t a lot you can do
It's now being reported as 9 fire engines by the local press. Been waiting for an official release by WMFS. It's a great shame about The Cadbury Club, clearly a building of much history and culture. But at least the factory and wider Cadbury's complex is safe.
@@CobraEmergency Since Cadbury's sold out our traditional quality chocolate, we are all eating the vile artificial rubbish made Kraft foods in the USA. 😃
The actual pump (for the water) runs off of the engine for the appliance.. There is a leaver in the cab that disengages the engine from the drive shaft and engages it to the pump motor.. Therefore the engine is constantly running on the fire ground to run the pump.. At long protracted incidents like this where the engine is going to be running for a considerable time the bonnet is opened to stop the engine over heating
Bloody hell! WMFS obviously love their chocolate... How many times did appliances (including the ALP and the silver Audi) clearly turn into Cadbury World only to have to do a U turn back onto Linden Rd! How embarrassing?! :0D
thepymes A factory that size must have its own Emergency Response Team or fire team or at the least a lot of security. The company should have had people who knew what was going on (and in radio contact with each other) posted at the various entrances to direct the emergency services to the appropriate area. This is basic stuff and the company has failed here not the emergency services.
@@roddyk05 Yes, Cadburys do have a fire team who patrol round the factory site in a Fiesta! However, the Social Club isn't on the factory site and doesn't belong to Mondelez. It is off a public road (Bournville Lane) opposite the factory. It should have been clear from the appliance MDT that they needed to turn down Bournville Lane and not into the clearly sign posted Cadbury World which is a private road off Linden Road. My guess is that they misread the MDT and turned off Linden Road too early (Bournville Road is the next left beyond the beautiful Cadbury cricket ground). To be fair I'm pretty sure it will have been appliances from out of the area and NOT the crews from Selly Oak or Northfield (Kings Norton would have approached from the other direction) but someone still owes the station a 'cake run' before their next shift! :0D
If their MDTs are anything like ours in the Ambulance service then no wonder they took the wrong road. The satnavs in ours have some weird and wonderful ideas where certain hospitals are! 😂
CobraEmergencyVideos thanks. I saw it earlier in the video with a old Dennis appliance and assumed it had broken down, but then the newer appliances did the same toward the end, seemed odd as I thought as with most engines the water pumps and stuff is at the back lol
