Yes these are gritomatic stones they use water. And yes I use water with my crystalon 320 all the time. Water can basically be used with all stones including India
Spread a couple drops of dish soap on oil stone (Norton, Ark...) to break surface tension. Add water as needed while sharpening. Example: th-cam.com/video/V-qGMGisurQ/w-d-xo.html
Do the Gritomatic SiC stones shed their grit similiar to the Norton Crystolon? Gritomatic has so many interesting stones but sadly most of them are outside of my budget :/

this is Gritomatic Silicon Carbide which uses water instead of oil. Cut most of the higj carbide steels

They really. They are a great place to do business with for sure. Yes they do but they don’t shed as fast and seem to dish as fast.
