    It's not just the beauty of the knife, but the beauty of your video in telling the narrative of the knife that I enjoy so much. So I would never skip ahead to see the final product! Thanks for the story of another great knife.

    Lovely, exquisite work, friend! I would normally skip to the end, but I miss woodworking so much (I used to work for a custom cabinet maker, but haven't gotten to do any woodwork in years since being injured on the job) and watching the shaping and sanding process especially was entrancing and relaxing.
    Again, gorgeous work. A Mora blade definitely deserves such a fine setting.

      Hey Aleister, always an honour and joy to get feedback from professional woodmakers. Actually today glued together a new Mora G project and hope to shape and sand it into form in these days. I have also gathered some video material from this work and maybe it’s there on tube too. Thanks for your kind words and wish you all the best! Osmo 👋🏻🇫🇮

      I thought you might be Finnish by the "LA" ending of your name. I had a Finnish friend named Erola. Learned so much from her!! Finnish is a very complex, beautiful poetic language indeed! And it translates into beautiful poetic English, just like your knives translate into beautiful works of poetry. I will subscribe and watch you translate some more! Thanks!! If/when one of my Garberg handles get ugly/ruined/melted I'll square up the tang and give it a proper cord wrap (Strider method) if I figure out a good way to put a nickle bolster/finger guard on it first.

    • @thetopicala
      @thetopicala  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      jutty Pettet Thanks Buddy for asking. There are at least two reason. The blocks that are available are that size that you can shape it many ways from small regular oval shape to those bigger hunting ones. Me personnally like to have huge one than some really small that doesn’t give you any change to use your imagination.

    what saw tool is that. and what are all the tools you used to set the blade. I'm having a tough time getting the hole right.

      David ops What size is your drill bit? Use bigger in the beginning and when you getting results go to smaller. You only have to use more epoxy. Google keyhole saw... atb, Osmo
