Was up at Slaughter Falls creek having a picnic nap when it flew over heard late in the arvo. Must have been on its way back to Amberly. He was still fairly low at that point. Was so confused till I relaised it was a C-17, thought it was a lost airliner :P

Wasted opportunity to show how close to the ground it actually flew!! Very little footage of the actual skyline / ground, so no perspective. We know what the Globemaster looks like close up, next time show us the actual spectacle, which were the low passes.
I was there at the river fire this afternoon, it’s absolutely indescribable on how cool the globemaster is
Riverfire is always one of the highlights of my year. Hopefully next year we get the Growlers or Super Hornets back as well - icing on the cake!
