मैं पिछले आठ दस साल से कम्पोस्टिंग कर रहा हूं पहले वाला जो घर था उसमें ज्यादा खुली जगह नहीं थी तो छत पर मटका रखकर कंपोस्ट करता था बार बार कचरा लेकर दूसरी मंजिल पर चढ़ना पड़ता था लेकिन फिर भी कंपोस्ट बनाने में जो खुशी मिलती है तो थोड़ा मेहनत मालूम नहीं पड़ती थी मैने खु़द ही सब धीरे धीरे एक्सपेरिमेंट करके सीखा है पहले न्यूज़ पेपर में पढ़ा था कि किचन वेस्ट से भी कंपोस्ट बन सकती है वर्ना पहले तो सब गांव के बूढ़े बुजुर्ग गोबर से ही खाद बनाना बताते थे कोई आइडिया तो था नहीं इसलिये खुद ही कुछ भी गलत सलत करके सीखा है पहले डांट भी पड़ी है जो छत पर बदबू आने लगी थी उसकी वजह से फिर धीरे धीरे सब सही होने लगा और घरवालों ने भी जब तैयार कंपोस्ट देखी तो वो भी किचन का कचरा अलग रखने लगे मेरे लिये फिर मेरी देखादेखी अड़ौस पड़ौस वालों ने भी किचन वेस्ट कंपोस्टिंग शुरू कर दी और मेरी मदद भी ली कि क्या कैसे करना है मैने वर्मीकंपोस्ट, बोकाशी कंपोस्ट, हाॅट कंपोस्ट, कोल्ड कंपोस्ट, Hugelkultur सब मैथड्स से कंपोस्ट बनाकर देखी और और तुम्हारा विडियो देखने के बाद मैं बोल सकता हूं कि अब तक का सबसे अच्छा विडियो है मुझे पहले शुरूआत में मिल गया होता तो और अच्छा होता

Bohot hi behtarin video reshma👍👌👏👏😊,me bhi matke or basket ka use karke hi compost tayyar karti hoo n isko jab koi ek baar banana samzh leta hai tab ye kafi mazedar or valuable ho jata hai .me brown waste ke liye sukhi pattiyo,packing boxes (cardbord box)ke tukde ,cocopeat, desert cooler ka wool ye sab use karti hoo n nariyal ke hard chilke to bade containers ke niche bicha deti hoo ,kayoki ye decomposed hone me 4-5 mahine ka time lete hai .dahi ke pani ke bacteria to hum moisture level banaye rakhne ke liye use kar sakte (specially garmiyo ke doran)but iske sath agar aadha bana compost na ho to musterd cake liquid ya powder bhi bohot jaldi decompose karne me help karta hai.or khad bhi rich ban jati .muzhe pura bharosa hai ki is video ko dekh kar compost banane ko lekar jo bhi viewers ka confusion hai wo jarur dur hoga👍👍.

I started composting in a similar matka composter this year in Feb and I can't tell the happiness I get while harvesting it. I feel so proud of myself for doing this and helping my environment. I think the cutttings were of Bamboo. Would love to get something from you

I like your way of stacking them one top of another. It saves space, I do similar composting but in 3 different size containers. The biggest one gets filled up first, then the smaller and then the smallest. When I empty out the biggest once it is done then I refill it with the 2 smaller ones in process of composting. This gives a kick start to the new batch. I use sticks at the bottom to prevent the drainage holes from blocking. On top of that dry leaves and a layer of soil. This keeps the base moist. I don't mind adding half done cow dung manure also to it in the middle layers as and when that is available. Rest as a you said, no hard and fast rules ... add what ever is available seasonally. But avoid adding any cooked food, meats, citrus fruits. Fruit juice pulps are another great additions but again avoid citrus fruit pulps, 5-10% is okay. Keep up the good work!

Dahi ka to aapne bata diya lekin gud (jaggery) aur waste decomposer ke roles/application nahi bataya. Kya ye cheezen significant hain ?
Dahi dalna uchit nahin hai lekin gurd dalne se harg nahin hain. Kuchh chanel dahi dalne ki bat kahte hain, jisse smell aa sakta hai.

When u prepare compost for the first you have to put some butter milk without sugar or salt, as an initializer of composting, that will kick start decomposition process even in winter small amount of it will help to decompose fast.

तुम्हारे videos बोहोत अच्छें है। मैं देखती हूँ तो लगता है मुझे भी काम्पोस्टिंग शुरू करना चाहिए। एक- दो बार ट्राई किया लेकिन बना ही नहीं काम्पोस्ट। मैं एक ट्रैश बिन मे होल्ज़ करके शुरुआत की थी। ३ महीने हो गये है और कुछ भी ब्रेक डाउन नहीं हुआ। what am i doing wrong? कोई टिप्स?

yeah, it is normal but you can reduce insects by adding more inoculum and dry matter.
What is inoculam?
Try to keep it dry. Inoculum mens that thing which keep away your items from harmful bacteria or to roted.
